THE CONSORTIUM
The Consortium’s Harvest: Galactic Corporatism vs. Human Sovereignty
In this intense ideological debate, the entity reptiliandude (RD) outlines the philosophy of the Consortium, a trans-planetary corporate enterprise that views Earth as a resource for life-extension technologies. RD argues that humanity is essentially a collection of “lumbering robots”—biological survival machines—whose genetic materials and bodies are best utilized as “hardware” for the consciousness of more advanced, paying clientele. He justifies this “body snatching” by citing human scientific consensus (specifically Richard Dawkins’ gene-centered view of evolution) to argue that humans have no inherent rights, only a “slave mentality” rooted in superstition.
In response, users garbotalk and ACuriousHumanBeing mount a fierce moral and spiritual defense. Garbotalk condemns the Consortium as “serial killers for profit” and “soul thieves,” arguing from a Christian perspective that every individual is a unique creation of God with an inalienable right to fulfill their potential. She rejects the “karmic retribution” excuse, framing the Consortium’s actions as an illegal, predatory intervention that violates the laws of the “One” and the impending judgment of the Assembly. ACuriousHumanBeing further challenges the logic of the “prevailing scientific opinion,” pointing to spiritual leaders like Pope Francis as more accurate representatives of humanity’s collective will. The dialogue concludes with a stark warning to the Consortium: by treating humanity as mere livestock or soulless software, they invite their own judgment and fail to recognize the sentient, evolving spirit that defines the human species.

reptiliandude: The Consortium is a grand, inter-world corporate enterprise.
Its most profitable endeavors are those which have provided proven life-extension technologies to those who can afford them, and substantially consistent returns on investment to those who support research, development and the dissemination of product.
From organ transplant, genetic and core modification and enhancement, to cybernetic augmentation; life and the quality of it has been generously extended to many.
Where death was once considered an inevitability, even at the point where all hope was considered lost, malleable brains of host species can now be rewritten to enable new life and new experiences.
The goal of the Consortium is to provide the ways and means for a species to retain their best and their brightest, while lifting up those others whose hubris and short-sightedness would have condemned their own worlds to a chaotic existence if left to their own devices.
Since our clientele are accustomed to a certain amount of luxury, worlds such as your own reap the benefits of accelerated technologies all the while maintaining untouched appearances so that your progress and unique, information-based algorithmic currency ( should you actually develop it ) remains your own to claim.
You would not be as developed either socially or technologically as you are were it not for the encouragement, productive labors, and proactive intervention of the Consortium.
//////
You should at the very least give the enterprise its due in that regard.
For many thousands of years you remained a petty, unwieldy species.
But now, perhaps you might actually amount to something inspiring.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Yeah, we are were petty and such…but something happened. Somethin that happened to your kin too, being of the consortium.
It’s a concept called ‘evolution’, where a species trouble shoots itself. It’s a long, slow process, but ultimatly necessary for making a species grow up. Tampering negativly with such evolution is short sighted and frankly impatient. And besides, if a species is truly self destructive, so be it. The process of evolution will eventually create worthy beings to carry the torch where others failed.
May the one have mercy on your souls, and grant you leniency where others would only grant cruel pain.
garbotalk: This sounds like an advertisement for the damned trying to avoid hell by any means necessary, including the murder of innocent souls and minds of our children born in this world. There can be no greater evil known to exist in the universe than the supplanting of God’s creations by arrogant and greedy aliens. Reading that advertisement induced vomit. Horrendous.
We must end this abuse at all costs.
As to giving the Consortium it’s due for encouraging our advancements, it was done solely to have us do their dirty work for them. Mengela, for example, who experimented on twins and other holocaust victims received Consortium “encouragement” for his advancements. The Consortium have no problem with our deaths or suffering if it increases their portfolio.
So no, I will not be appreciating their selfish labors in the name of profit.
The Assembly will weigh in on this effort, to be sure. When the Consortium was required to repair this world and help humanity after the cataclysm, they sought contrition and sacrificial penance for the wrongs done to our species, did they not?
Instead, the Consortium used this punishment as a means to further abuse and kill us, now as “product” for portfolios rather than soldiers and genome repair. The financial penalties required of the Consortium was turned into down payment on investment for profit. Yes, we got back up on our feet, but only as harvestable product. What kind of a trade is that? How is that helping us? More than anything, we evolved in spite of your abuse of us.
Every “kindness” shown our species was an attempt to make us more productive and profitable. It had no element of mercy or empathy. Thus, the Consortium gets no credit for “good works”.
reptiliandude: All that a man has will he give for his life…
garbotalk: That is why they are fighting so hard to hide from us and sabotage our answering the beacon. This is an uphill battle.
“Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death.”
Leviticus 24:17
ACuriousHumanBeing: …I think I understand the books meaning.
And many have yet given up on thier redeemer, or worse, practice thier teachings in name only. He who forgives.
…may lord have mercy.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Not only man it seems.
We all have to accept death. There’s a reason we quote Satan as saying those words. if only those customers of the Consortium accepted this facet of life and let themselves move on and evolve, at this point they’re stalling themselves, and stabbing themselves and others for a life no longer worth living.
Such a pity I share some of the Tall White’s genes, but perhaps they may probe helpful yet…they will do something for humanity…I can omly hope.
reptiliandude: As God is my witness, the motto of the Consortium translates roughly into, “A life of abundance that displaces even death.”
//////
—And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
Rev. 9:6
///
It wouldn’t be fair if I at least didn’t give some of you a little “head’s up.”
Not everything is as cut and dried as it seems…
Many of your ancestors put messages in bottles, and cast them into the sea of time.
You might do well to put away some of your hubris, and consider what those water damaged scribblings are saying to you.
But that choice also has its drawbacks…
In the long run, it’s all on you anyways.
Choose wisely.
garbotalk: Can you tell us what happened on your home planet when the Assembly arrived?
reptiliandude: No.
garbotalk: A life of abundance that causes death….for everybody on Earth but you!
I’m trying to imagine a society where everyone seeks to live forever, and have no respect for the lives of the younger races they destroy to try to do so.
How did the advanced races descend to that level of callousness and lack of empathy?
I can only compare it to our treatment of the indigenous races when we were first exploring the globe and encountering primitive people. Even as some of us took their lands, others of us tried to save their souls. Both efforts were arrogant. But would we have stolen their lives to extend ours? Are we also capable of such evil? I struggle with this. I hope not.
Once the Assembly weighs in, there will be a new understanding of what is right and what is wrong. We will all reset. Humanity will develop to the point of having to decide if we will do these same atrocities to life forms we discover elsewhere.
We must etch into our collective memory how appalled and aggrieved we are as to our current circumstances, and vow never to do to younger races that which was done to us.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Agreed completely.
reptiliandude: Perhaps some of the sting would be removed if you simply saw this as a form of karmic retribution?
ACuriousHumanBeing: Not for me,
cause its still a sting.
Besides, coding it as some Karma only invites a way for people to justify the suffering and creates a space for victim blaming and an excuse to never evolve and do better.
Besides, we’re all in the sea of fire anyway, as many of your kin believe anyway, that is ‘Karma’ enuagh.
garbotalk: Our people entirely replaced from body snatchers who have murdered and abused us for 200,000 years our deserved karma for mistreating our own by mimicking our abusers? No. That price is too high.
Your religious leaders blame the victims, yet are silent at atrocities committed by their own. I will not give them a pass by accepting their conclusions that we are deservedly cursed.
Everyone born in this world enters life a clean slate. The choices they individually make determine their guilt or innocence, responsibility and judgement.
The Consortium wants to erase our babies’ minds and souls and insert their own minds into our infants’ bodies. How could those newborns have earned such a fate?
No, that karma excuse is crap. Even if I believed our lives are recycled, which I don’t, only God has the right to judge, not covetous aliens.
reptiliandude: How by your standards is an UNFORMED mind being utilized more efficiently considered a horrible fate?
garbotalk: Utilized? Like, say, a tool? Ok, let’s say you want to borrow my tool (body). You would need to seek permission. And then you would have to return it, undamaged, if I agreed to lend it in the first place.
But what if I don’t agree? Then your use of my tool is at minimum, theft. And what if you destroy it so that I can never use it again? Then you would owe me a replacement, which you will never be able to do.
And if I’m too vulnerable to make such a decision? Then you’ve taken away my potential to use my tool and my ability to make a living is compromised.
And if God had a purpose for my tool and you subjugated it for your own desires? Then you have not only robbed me, but also God.
Every unformed mind with a soul has the right to fulfill their potential and live their life! Who are you to say your your life is more worthy than mine, or my baby’s life, or any baby’s life?
Jeremiah 1:5
How many people must suffer or die to let you extend your life, clients of the Consortium? 5? 10? 100? 1000? 10,000?
Each replacement is a death. The Consortium are murderers for profit. They are serial killers, every one of them. There is no excuse that could be offered worthy at judgement but complete contrition. Even then, there will be consequences, eternal consequences.
reptiliandude: Do you require permission from a horse to pull a plow?
Do you compel a cow to reason in order to milk it?
You’re nothing more than domesticated primates according yourselves ‘rights’ from a consensus obtained through violence and a force of will which you now seem to imagine fluttered down upon your heads like a dove following the calling of baptism.
Such is the defense of a slave mentality.
Calling upon a God, when your own right hand lacks either the strength or the force of will to save itself.
This world and its people shall be absorbed into a higher purpose through focused leadership not bound to your peculiarities, prejudices or predisposed notions.
The few shall rule the many through subterfuge, and your genetics shall pay for your upkeep like milk does the life of the shorthorn.
Left to your own devices you would only be led by those without conscience into destroying yourselves.
Your history has demonstrated this most succinctly.
garbotalk: I know you are providing us the views of the Consortium, not your own. And my response is to them, not you. That being said, I wish I was as eloquent and sharp a debater as you are, for your words stab deeply. I shall do my best, regardless.
All life, the small and the large, must by design pass through thresholds of development on their way to greatness. Condemning us as unworthy of rights simply because your species had a huge head start by hundreds of thousands of years is arrogance in the face of the One who spread forth His hand to allow you to grow and prosper.
As there are species of lesser abilities than you, like us, there are also those who look down at you like the cattle you consider us to be. They watch as you upend world after world like a swarm of locusts, picking it clean of everything consumable or useful. You are only thinking of yourselves and your immediate gratification, no matter the cost to those species living and dying for your continued existence. Such hubris. Such unbelievable arrogance.
What will you do when they decide to cull your herd and harvest you? Will you cry out for mercy and claim rights you don’t have? Will you attempt to fight them with your primitive weapons compared to theirs? I pity you, for you know not the price you will pay.
Do you believe yourselves to have rights to everywhere you journey simply because you planted your flag? We planted our flag on our moon. It has bleached out and become worn after almost 50 years. Anyone who sees it would have no recognition of who presumed to claim an entire moon, as if that were even possible. You no more own this world and the others you’ve stolen and claimed as your own any more than we own the moon.
Who owns you? Who has say over where you go and what you do, or even what happens to your minds and bodies? I would say that the One who brought you forth and blessed you, and who came to our world and did likewise, is in control. And He spoke of love and mercy and treating others as you would like to be treated. He spoke of forgiveness and understanding.
He gave us all but a short time before He would return and render judgement over all those who claim this world. Use it wisely.
Matthew 24:42
garbotalk: I’ve been dwelling on this comment for days. I remember the hope of each of my babies born. Will they look like me? Have my temper? Sing with my voice? What part of me will I impart into my child?
A child is gift from God. A promise of my legacy that I will leave to the world. Each baby inhales it’s first breath and cries for its mother to love and comfort them. I read to my children, sang to my children, taught them how to eat and talk and walk, to hug and kiss and smile. Their mind were formed by these many moments as well as their genetic packages.
For aged aliens to rob me, rob us of our children’s rightful minds because they covet their pristine bodies is a crime against God as well as humanity. He knew us before we were born, breathed a soul into each one. A lifetime of potential stolen because aged, rich, corrupt beings want to replace us one by one.
It’s painful to consider. Horrendous! Criminal! It’s worse than kidnapping, worse than murder, because we can’t even mourn the loss of our children because it’s done surreptitiously.
The One won’t let this happen to us. He will step in. He will intervene. He will end those covetous old beings and cast them out of our children’s bodies into the void rather than the herd of pigs He sent them to last time.
reptiliandude: Its a pity that you don’t see a higher purpose for the continuance of the genes of your species in all this.
Nevertheless… https://youtu.be/oQlYXdhN9iU
ACuriousHumanBeing: What’s the point of our genes being continued, if we’re not the one’s to enjoy them, if we get not so much as a taste of the fruits of our labor, and instead others instead feast upon all of it?
garbotalk: I’m not talking about you. You get a pass. You mother volunteered for a higher purpose that I respect. You are trying to save your species and warn mine.
I’m talking about a systematic erasing of humanity to preserve a decrepit society that is avoiding death and facing God’s judgement. That is unacceptable in every way. They’ve lived their lives. Their time is over. For everything there is a season and a time and a purpose under heaven.
We are more than just a package of genes. Saving a life with our immunities is one thing. Donating blood is a selfless thing to do, and takes nothing from us to do so. But donating our childrens’ minds to be rewritten en mass? That is eliminating us altogether. Our souls and minds are who we are! We will fight with everything we have to prevent this.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Note: I was not talking about you either.
This is about the Consortium and its treatment of my people.
reptiliandude: Appreciated. Nevertheless, your response to all this is simply referring back to opinion–specifically, your own opinions couched in your take on the Christian eschatology.
I could just as easily present another viewpoint–that of your own esteemed ethnologist and evolutionary biologist, Richard Dawkins…
Who, might I remind you has referred to the species as merely ‘lumbering robots’ for the preservation of such genetic verbiage.
To quote:
*Was there to be any end to the gradual improvement in the techniques and artifices used by the replicators to ensure their own continuation in the world? There would be plenty of time for improvement. What weird engines of self-preservation would the millennia bring forth? Four thousand million years on, what was to be the fate of the ancient replicators?
They did not die out, for they are past masters of the survival arts. But do not look for them floating loose in the sea; they gave up that cavalier freedom long ago. Now they swarm in huge colonies, safe inside gigantic lumbering robots, sealed off from the outside world, communicating with it by tortuous indirect routes, manipulating it by remote control.
They are in you and in me; they created us, body and mind; and their preservation is the ultimate rationale for our existence. They have come a long way, those replicators. Now they go by the name of genes, and we are their survival machines.*
/////
So, by the words of one of the most esteemed among you…
Whose words are echoed in ivory halls, spoken in hushed and reverent tones among most scientists and shouted by laymen amongst the blogosphere…
This is the consensus among your best and brightest minds as to who and what you truly are!
Therefore, as robots…
What difference is it what sort of ‘software’ brings your consciousness into being?
What difference does it make whether it is primed by determination or formed via incidental collision?
At least if it is primed via the motions of those with foresight and vision far beyond your ignorance and petty differences…
If those imbued with a determination that is light years removed from your own destructive natures say, “Enough!” And these intrepid souls grab the helm of these lumbering robots for the betterment of the species and the promulgation of said genes, your bodies the mere servants of which your own greatest minds through consensus have agreed is an unassailable truth….
Why condemn us for acting in agreement with your own proclamations?
garbotalk: I reject absolutely your assertion that Richard Dawkins offers an opinion more valid than mine, more accepted by humanity or even more respected by the greatest of our minds.
I may not have a doctorate in the sciences, but I am well educated in liberal arts and even labeled genius level in empirical testing throughout my life. My I. Q. is verifiable. So if you are looking for a bright mind to assess humanity, mine is equivalent.
While scientists use a system of observation, experimentation, theory and repeatable results, Dawkins’ proclamation is nothing more than opinion, not even theory, and not more valid than mine.
I would say that the scientists, like Dawkins, who over estimate their own proclamations and opinions as valid due to hubris, atheism, nihilism and small mindedness actually hold us back as a species. By overly focusing on the micro, they miss the macro, the big picture of the rest of what makes us who we are, both within us and around us in this amazing universe of ours. They miss the divine inspiration that makes us unique individuals, created with purpose and intention by the almighty, who makes no mistakes.
Consider Srinivasa Ramanujan, a brilliant natural mathematician who solved many unsolvable math problems through creative thinking. Some of his theories even today are finally being proven after his death. He may be the brightest mathematical mind known to humanity, ever. And yet his faith was extraordinary. He often said, “An equation for me has no meaning unless it represents a thought of God.” What robot thinks this way?
How about Sir Isaac Newton who most would consider one of our greatest scientists ever, having described motion and the theory of gravity. He said about those like Dawkins who made grandiose pronouncements that he knew to be wrong, “A man may imagine things that are false, but he can only understand things that are true, for if the things be false, the apprehension of them is not understanding.” He also gave acknowledgement to our creator when he said, “Blind metaphysical necessity, which is certainly the same always and every where, could produce no variety of things. All that diversity of natural things which we find suited to different times and places could arise from nothing but the ideas and will of a Being, necessarily existing.”
I could offer views from our greatest playwright, William Shakespeare who said, “We know what we are, but know not what we may be.” And also, “It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.”
How about views from the great scientist Carl Sagan? “Every one of us is, in the cosmic perspective, precious. If a human disagrees with you, let him live. In a hundred billion galaxies, you will not find another.”
Mahatma Gandhi said, “You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”
Ralph Ellison, a writer, said, “Life is to be lived, not controlled; and humanity is won by continuing to play in face of certain defeat.”
How about the Dali Lama? “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” Robots don’t have souls yearning for love and compassion.
Listen to the words of Jesus. “For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?”
My words may be humble and not famous like these I’ve quoted. But they are no less valid. And I guarantee you, the vast majority of our species agree with me rather than this man you’ve quoted.
We are NOT meat suits waiting to be filled by minds of dying beings who believe themselves to be greater and more worthy than us. That extraordinary arrogance and pride go before a fall. To steal the souls of an entire species using the justification of one foolish man’s opinion is manipulation with selfish and evil intent, not worthy of species that consider themselves advanced, intelligent and especially those who claim to have faith.
I don’t know what went wrong with you who allow this abomination to go on without a word. You can’t claim ignorance anymore, if you’ve read any of my words. You can’t turn your back on humanity without placing your own souls in danger. If ever there was a reason to stand up for what is right, it is now.
We are not playthings for your amusement. We are not cursed by God. He loved us enough to send His son to us, to save our souls and teach us how to live, just like He did for you. He is on our side! Will you stand against not only humanity, but the One who made us all?
I may die in a few decades at most. But I will gladly face my future because I know where I will go and whose hands will carry me there. Those of you who dare to steal our bodies from us and seek to extend your lives, no matter the cost, will never join me there. Those of you who know of our suffering and offer a blind eye won’t either. You are tainting your souls by your inaction and condemning us to a fate worse than death.
How can you live knowing this to be true? How can you teach your children that this is right? How do you know that those who displace us won’t turn around one day and displace you?
You must draw a line in the sand and choose whose side you’ll be on. You can’t remain ignorant or indifferent any longer. When the Assembly arrives, there will be no where to hide from the choices you’ve made. They will leave no stone unturned. The One will have His say about all of this, guaranteed.
ACuriousHumanBeing: I’d condem ya since then you’re an ignorent fool agreeing with a bunch of other ignorent fools.
Its your opinion, and its a pretty aweful one.
And this means something else, you too would be mondless machines, and therefore your live no more meaningful or worthwhile than our own.
Furthermore this is insulting to those robots which have formed souls and are too concious as you yourself. In fact, the insectiod among recognize thier sentience and grant them rights. Furthermore these insectoid beings are the entire reason the consortoum even exists, and prominent members of your own society. Why is it then so many of you ignore their ways of treating thier sentient machines and use them as slave labor for your own gain. Further more many of them abstain from dealing with the consortium, why then do you ignore such prominant and wise beings?
Furthermore this assumes that because these men are smart, they will inherently make wise decisions. If this was the case, the Naigaje are inherently damned for lettin lawyers take control of thier legal system that one time, the Kayeen for destorying thier own genes, and the doubtless multitude of mostakes and errors made bu other species. Are we too then judge then for these stupid decision, and think of them as morons who do nothing right, because at that one moment in time they fucked up? No. Because peoples make mistakes, and this a blip in humanity that will doubtless die out as these other problems did for these other species.
And if life is thus meaningless, why do the Kayeen and others hate the idea of dying so much. If you say then that we are robots, then you cast yourselves into the same mold. If you agree with these consensus, you open yourself up to the same scrutiny and judgment.
reptiliandude: We are not talking about ‘mistakes.’ We are talking about prevailing scientific opinion. You may summon the burning bush of belief all that you want to…
But the opinions of those evangelicals who promote the notion that dinosaurs competed in dressage competition, prancing about while happily wearing their English saddles have thankfully been marginalized into obscurity.
Well, at least globally with the United States being one of the abysmal holdouts for medicine wagon paleontology.
Nonetheless, by the prevailing scientific orthodoxy of your own species, you are but by-products of your genetic activities.
So, why should those seeking to preserve the same under more efficient conditions bow to notions of your personal identity based upon superstition and pseudoscience?
Your species shall be dragged out of its own slumber kicking and screaming through the sacrifices of those willing to put their own hands to work through you.
To imagine yourselves evolved enough to even have a choice in this decision is not only inconceivable, but laughable.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Reading that question was like walking through a maze blindfolded.
As my species has shown you, those who are wrong are eventually marginalized, as you said yourself, those who believe overzealous are no more of prevailing opinion, as these men too shall eventually be no more pf the prevailing opinion.
And frankly the prevaling orthodoxy of my people is wrong, as it ignores the ‘spritual’ as you evangelicals ignored the scientific. So why would you justify something by the logic of a bunch of silly apes, are we the ones therefore in charge of morality, and how humans therefore those who quantify your own morality and how you treat us? And why are the choosing these and promoting these when there are more woser words amongst my own people.
And you haven’t actually disproven Garbo’s or my own stance. You keep talking about others opinions, but not our own. You are judging us for the piss stains of others. You’ve yet to actually prove my own or Garbo’s veiws wrong.
And this preservation your planning is ultimatly foolhardy. How does cancer preserve product? How does the melting of the ice caps improve conditions? How does dumping diseases upon us improve our condition? How does does mind raping our kin improve our leadership? How does destroying the zipping process of our genes help preserve product?
And this isn’t your genome to steal or use. It is my own, my famlies, and my species to do as we see fit and evolve on this pitiful world you’ve created. Because guess what, I’m not a lifeless machine, I’m, as you said, a fracal being spreading our form the bowl of reality and manifesting as the being you speak to today. I am sentient, and ever evolving, soon to be a being likened onto you.
And don’t you dare fool yourself. This whole operation isn’t about preservation, its about harvesting, and moralizing that harvesting. It’s not about preserving the genome, its about discarding it and stealing it from others, to sell and improve investment portfolios.
Sadly though beings of light have no use for money. as you may sadly find out.
May they have mercy where I wouldn’t.
reptiliandude: What you fail to conceive is that you have created your own legal conundrum.
We consider at face value those individuals which your species has chosen to represent you.
ACuriousHumanBeing: A legal conodrum by your standards then. The question is then, is there such a way your are wrong about who truly represents humanity. Because there is someone in power right now who represents over a billion of people around the world, more so than the less impressive amount of people swayed by Dawkins and his ilk. A man who represents people of all corners of humanity, from the ever poor former to the affluent college scientist.
I present Pope Francis a man who heads a church who guides roughly a 7th of our people as the leader of the largest spiritual organization on earth.
A man who proclaims the Big Bang and other scientific theories as things that codify and assure god’s existence.
He is a man who while believing in god, accepts science. In fact, Catholic school include such science theories into thier classrooms, and use it to help, not harm thier religious beliefs. They see it as a way to know thier god more, and actually encourage the enrichment of the sciences.
And note this: by saying your leaders represent your people, understand how this will effect your judgement in the future. You will all then be judged by your leaders actions, as you have accepted that those people speak for you. So when judgement falls, don’t be surprised when you’re judged for the actions of those who you’ve placed into power.
