Michio Kaku talks about faster than light particles, tachyons. (Star Trek always used tachions particles to explain how they tracked Romulans and so forth, my first exposure to them.) Anyway, if anyone can make headway with the spinning hydrogen particles necessary to answer the beacon, he perhaps could.
