Alcohol and tobacco work as coping devices, but they can also provide the means which the addictive personality misuses to destroy their own lives.

Banning such things only creates a lucrative underground market, as happened with Prohibition. So it is better simply to educate and shake the kittens by the scruff of the neck who misbehave.

The same is true in worlds which market augmentations for the masses.

They can ruin people’s lives, especially if the people getting them have addictive personalities or have given up their privacy to rapacious bankers who control via the debt model or to their polar opposites, the leftist social engineers and elitists.

Both have their own disciples of one system of eugenics or another which swarm like flies over the corpse of fallen liberty.

But it is not the augmentations themselves which we ‘reptilians’ stand against: rather, it is the tech which allows access to your personal information which creates foreseeable issues which many transhumanist advocates willingly choose to ignore.

If you allow a centralized financial system to completely control your purchasing power, you have given away a human right.

Your ability to buy and sell without a centralized banking system or governmental authority rifling through your items is a human right.

Did you know that in the current system the police are not allowed to mention anything you’ve said to them during questioning which would aid in your your defense or which may substantiate your innocence while they are on the witness stand as it is considered ‘hearsay?’

The system is full of innocent people convicted of crimes they didn’t commit because they naively thought that they had nothing to fear and offered information just to be helpful.

Most prisons are run by management companies that are publicly traded.

They’re corporate.

Do you think that corporations are in the business of losing money?

If you don’t sterilize your dust rag after cleaning your china cabinet it’s a felony.

Besides this, do you want all of your purchases to be monitored or at the very least accessible to the scrutiny of biased or ignorant middle-management types trying to justify their official credentials and salaries?

Attempts to make others aware of this indoctrination are met with much resistance from those who base their self esteem upon such vanities. As for the cerebral, they see another contrived reality imposed upon the fabric of this one as preferable. They wish to claim another world which others cannot see as their own. The desire to merge with machine is an attempt at having some sort of control over emotions they cannot regulate in a world that refuses to adapt to their awkwardness and inadequacies. They lack resolve, so they seek to change the resolution. Those whose livelihoods are predicated upon exploitation rush to fill the vacuum and to make such nonsense fashionable.

Apostastrophe: A little late to the party here, but wanted to chip in (hah) as I’m a little confused, living in the UK. Here, there is all but no such thing as “swiping” anymore. There’s “chip and pin” or there’s contactless chip. There is a chip on every single card that deals with payment from an account. This doesn’t seem particularly recent a revelation to me either.
