ALIENS OVERVIEW
The Harvest Economy: Logic and Logistics of Abduction
In this clinical and somber discussion, garbotalk and reptiliandude break down the mechanical reality of alien abductions, framing them not as sci-fi mysteries but as a cold, industrial “harvest.” The Consortium—a multi-species corporate entity—uses synthetic “Greys” to minimize risk and cost while targeting vulnerable populations like the homeless or isolated rural residents to avoid detection. Garbotalk highlights the psychological trauma of victims who are often “twice abused”—first by the “catch and release” medical experiments and then by a skeptical human society—while reptiliandude clarifies that the ultimate beneficiaries of these mutations and “products” are other advanced primate-based species. This profit-driven system is described as keeping the inter-world economy “in the black,” treating human genetic material as a raw resource for an elite market that views us with the same lack of agency we might afford to livestock.

wired_11: I am very curious about abduction in general. What species generally does the abducting? How do they decide who to abduct? Basically any information you could shine on the subject would be appreciated. Thank you.
garbotalk: The Consortium mostly does the abducting. It is made up of several species from different worlds. Many use synthetics to do this for them for their own protection from resistance from the abductees. We call them the greys.
As they are interested in our immunities, our family prospects for drop tech and medical experiments in general that they would rather do on less advanced beings like us than advanced primate species, we are at their mercy.
Who can say what their preferences are in subjects they choose? Convenience is a factor. City people are harder to approach than those in remote areas, mostly due to cameras everywhere, though they can interfere with cameras too if they want. People on the margins of society, the homeless, runaways, druggies, prostitutes…these people aren’t noticed when they go missing.
For those they are monitoring for a specific medical test who they need multiple samples from, they will abduct repeatedly, and mind wipe the short term memory of the encounter in a catch and release way. Often they tag these people with a chip under the skin so they can find them again easily.
It is disturbing to learn these facts about the way we’ve been treated, frightening even. It’s a big motivation to get the word out so humanity can answer the beacon and be free of these abductions.
If I thought I was abducted, I’d for sure get a full body MRI or at least some xrays to make sure that I’m not tagged.
They get away with this crap because we refuse to believe witnesses who come forward. These poor people with altered memories who are trying to make sense of what happened to them are twice abused, once by the aliens and then again by the people who question their mental faculties. I’m sure it’s a very lonely thing to go through.
I’m happy to meet aliens or their synthetics interested in talking to me if they treat me respectfully. But if they take me against my will, I will fight them. And you should too. To my knowledge, I haven’t been abducted. I hope this helps.
reptiliandude: Abduction serves the purpose of harvesting product. Or, of creating mutations for harvesting later. Synthetics conduct most of the labor in a cost effective manner that keeps everything in the black. I believe that the spirit of your question wasn’t so much ‘who does the abductions,’ but rather ‘who profits from them?’ Well, that should be obvious. Primate-based people like yourselves.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Those poor beings.
They know not the consequences of thier actuons, and born into a system of harvesting with no agency.
I can relate.
DankNethers: To be fair… There are non-primate species in the Consortium that profit plenty
Though only primates can benefit from the end product
