My species has what you would essentially call a ‘beak.’

Actually, two of them in much the same manner that some species of eels have a ‘grabbing’ jaw.

These ‘beaks’ also possess ‘mandibles,’ which are sort of like teeth, and assist us in chewing our food.

Our nostrils are wide and ‘flared’ and this protect us from the heavy rains on my species home world.

Also to clarify something else…

The second beak, extends through something akin to the ‘mouth’ of an octopus.

Through those ‘lips’ our second voice box can form words like yours.

I have avoided giving you a description at once so as not to paint a picture of my species that would sound monstrous.

That would only summon the fears of your most ancient existence, and would not serve any constructive purpose.

garbotalk: I dont think you understand how fascinating these details are to us. When I read this, I wonder about your lineage from dinosaur of some sort to a combination life form with elements of bird, lizard, snake, octopus and tiger. All this, intelligence, two voice boxes, backwards knees, amazing speed, strength, climbing and stealth make your kind formidable to be sure, but with a face as soft as a parakeet’s.

To me, you’re a smart birdie lizard who’s been around the block a few times and likes beer. You don’t scare me at all.
