It is a place to see if any sort of compromise can be met.

I know that this is quite impossible for those chronically infected with human hubris to wrap around their noggins… But there are other far more efficient global economies than this clumsy, stumbling, bumbling excuse of publicly traded debt you’re offering to creatures such as ourselves.

It is ghastly in its mismanagement and it’s support network might as well be on life support.

You don’t even have a sustainable currency that isn’t dependent upon complete fraud and blind convictions in the national trust.

As such, we cannot openly trade with you, and in lieu of pulling an Admiral Perry on you and thus disrupting the flow of industries already in place, it has been decided to manipulate you from within.

But, unfortunately…

Our society has lawyers too.

And we also have laws and stipulations that spell out quite clearly what we can and cannot legally do. You’ve brought the power of the sun to bear upon your world when you detonated your first fusion bomb.

You passed up the fission classification in less than a generation. You’ve come far beyond the sandal strap and the radio propagation classification.

But you haven’t learned yet how to speak in real time.
