Earth —
Bees
Pollution of all sorts, but in modern times more specifically, Toxic Waste
This category includes soil associations which include methods of farming, pest controls and the effects of decay in the burial process.

Air —
Chlorofluorocarbons
Global Warming
This category includes not only those things breathable, but winds used to navigate the seas and how astronomy affected navigational progress.

“Fire”—
Gunpowder
Fusion Bombs
This element represents the element of progress which can move a species forwards through joining it to other combinations (steam power = earth, air, fire, water) or developing methods in which to further the growth of “higher cultures” through providing access to resources via methods of war.

Water —
The misuse of which is perhaps best exemplified in the
The Great Pacific Garbage Patch
This element represents commerce and culture. It represents repeatable and predictable cycles, as well as unexpected upheavals and change. It represents that without which carbon-based life would have great difficulties developing and evolving. It represents “time” as it freezes and can bring about dormancy and death inasmuch as it can melt and so encourages further warmth and development.

These were the alchemical principles entrusted to those who would lead you into future abundance.

We only seek to understand why these principles and the associative benefits of meditating upon them were relegated into obscurity.

The current consensus is that you wandered away from the practical applications of these principles in your daily lives, as they became obscured in the quest to turn base metals into gold, or to acquire the means to draw forth designs by thirds, via the creation of the “Philosopher’s Stone.”

While this inquiry may mean nothing to those seeking only to obtain technological and scientific knowledge with nothing of equal value to offer in return, it speaks volumes to us in what directions the species naturally takes without interference via more invasive directives seeded among those who guide its course.

I speak on behalf of many.
