Unlocking Philip K. Dick, Fractured Realities, and the Clash Over Truth

In this extended forum exchange, OriginalReet connects reptiliandude’s descriptions of shifting realities to the visions of Philip K. Dick while writing VALIS, prompting confirmation that embedding these truths in science fiction serves as a legal cultural touchstone. This sparks a deep theological debate involving emperorbma and garbotalk regarding human responsibility, Martin Luther’s On the Bondage of the Will, the nuclear age, and the manipulative agendas of extraterrestrial factions like the Kayeen, whom garbotalk warns view humans as mere “product”. LucePrima defends a more nuanced historical view linking figures like Moses to these entities, which triggers a sharp rebuke from reptiliandude and leads to a heated community clash among lelekfalo, PrinceWizdom, and fieldlilly over communication styles, tough love, and the heavy burdens of trying to wake humanity up.

OriginalReet: So is this sort of what happened to Philip K. Dick during the time he was writing VALIS? The “Black Iron Prison” he had visions of seem to line up with this sort of thing.

reptiliandude: Mark.

2+ year interaction till reference made.

Currency confirmed.

shyeejanut: Disahkan.

OriginalReet: Pssst, what are you guys talking about? I’m curious to know, or at least what my comment meant. Pretty please 🙂

garbotalk: You recognized a truth and have added to humanity’s currency. Good job!

OriginalReet: Oh, well that’s cool! How exactly did I add to that? What’s the currency? How can I add more?

garbotalk: You theorized a fact, and were given credit for it. Humanity might not recognize you, but aliens will. You noticed their “influence”. Keep paying attention and thinking critically.

OriginalReet: Oh boy, that’s exciting! I’ll keep all senses primed!

fieldlilly: Basically, what I think what just happened is that you linked items that were originally published as science fiction in a way that was “legal” for RD to confirm. This concept, I assume, was allowed to enter somewhat into our mainstream thought by means of calling it science fiction, since if Philip K. Dick had tried to publish it as his real experiences, he would have either ended up in an insane asylum, or as the leader of a New Age Cult.

By asking the question in the way you did, in this forum, a member of the Consortium was able to legally confirm the truthfulness of the account and concept for those who would otherwise perhaps still look elsewhere for an explanation of this concept. Instead, now we have a solid touchstone, human in origin, on which we can base further thought and research on the subject. That is what it means for it to be our own currency… we have to find the truth buried in the fiction and misdirection hidden in our myths, legends and stories, and then build from there.

garbotalk: Wait til you read mine.

It will be a while though.

explorer1357: NICE JOB BRO!!!! 👍👍👍

explorer1357: Just when I thought you had forgotten…

explorer1357: How’s the Venus project going along?

fieldlilly: For anyone interested in reading Philip K. Dick books and short stories, most of them are in the public domain and can be read for free online. Here is one site that has some:

http://www.openculture.com/2012/01/free_stories_by_philip_k_dick.html

But there are other sites as well.

LucePrima: It appears that PKD had contact with the Kayeen as well…

From an interview with his last wife Tessa:

Riz: Yeah, no worries. I was just asking about if Philip, he said that he remembered different histories.

Tessa: He did, and apparently, if Kennedy had lived, then LBJ would’ve been out on his keister. We would not have had Nixon. We’d probably have Bobby Kennedy. For some reason, that timeline seemed to lead to a nuclear war, so getting back to the Adjustment Team, he thought maybe someone had changed it. One of his visions from people who claim to be from our future and he was awake, he wasn’t sleeping and dreaming.

Riz: Okay.

Tessa: I could see shadows. I kind of saw them, but I kind of didn’t and maybe I was just influenced by Phil. These people who said they were from the future claimed that they had tried and tried to stop the JFK assassination, but every time they stopped one plot against him, some other plot succeeded, so they gave up because they figured it was kind of a hard event, one you couldn’t change.

Riz: Oh, wow, so this is what the people from the future … Did they look like humans?

Tessa: Well, Phil said they look human, but their heads were odd, kind of like that famous bust of Nefertiti with the large skull going back, kind of like what they call coneheads.

Riz: Yup, yup, I’ve seen those.

Tessa: And very small nose and mouth, but big eyes, but basically, normal humans, not any type of alien that we’ve heard described. They also told him that they were interfering with our time because their time, which is our future, was so awful. They drew war and just plain pollution. They wrecked the planet and they had this eugenics program to supposedly make the human race better and they ended up unable to procreate. They couldn’t bear children, so the human race was dying off.

Their time , which is our future

I’m glad she pointed to the bust of Nefertiti. I might also point to her husband’s skull and their realist art movement

I’ve asked this in private before, but do you now want to talk about who (or what) “Moses” really was, O Sphinx?

And this bit about the Kayeen being our future. It’s been mentioned here before

[deleted]: Some people could once have been something else but now live as man. But this is a truth that escapes me and many. I am not sure if it is even truth at all. That is the beauty of a wiped harddrive.

A new slate and land to grow in.

Perhaps, it may be better to value the currency you have now and could make than knowing the currency you once had and lost.

garbotalk: Personally, I think I volunteered for this life, here on this planet, at this time, in this body. I guess I’ll find out at the reckoning.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Well we know it’s happened…in a round-about way, to RD.

Surely its happened to others to. In this sense they inherent their work.

BlurpleFart: The easiest way to destroy a dangerous message is through adoption and perversion of that message.

LucePrima: Thank you, 白龍

So when does your bond to this planet break?

When do any of ours?

emperorbma:  For they shall deny the existence of freewill.

Following this thought. Perchance, what’s your take on Martin Luther’s De Servo Arbitrio? (On the Bondage of the Will)

I ask this because it’s a very important issue. As you know Luther is held in high esteem to me. But from Martin Luther’s own words, “Regarding [the idea] to collect my writings in volumes, I am quite cool and not at all eager about it because, roused by a Saturnian hunger, I would rather see them all devoured. For I acknowledge none of them to be really a book of mine, except perhaps the one On the Bondage of the Will and the Catechism.” (LW 50:172–173)

So it is apparent that he considers “On the Bondage of the Will” a central piece of his understanding of theology. In fact, it’s sort of the underpinning Protestant teaching in general which is specifically meant to counter the views of those like Gabriel Biel that one can be saved by “doing what is in [oneself],” placing the onus on earning God’s favor with “good works” (which Luther came to see as a consequence of faith) rather than placing the onus upon God’s grace saving as He works in us through through faith. (By comparison, Catholics saw it as something we “add” to salvation to make it “more complete”)

The key principle Luther is deriving from the principle of the “bound will” is that only God is Sovereign over all things. For his debating opponent was the philosopher Erasmus who insisted upon making “free will” the central idea of earning salvation. And Luther’s point was that this is logically impossible. The necessity of grace causes us to recognize that our own will, while certainly able to choose, is also necessarily bound to be a subject (cf. Heidelberg Disputation 14 N.B. Latin word was subiectiva not “passive” as it’s now translated) of either to the higher power of God’s grace or else inherently bound to the power of Original Sin which binds the will against God. That choice of God as the “rider” of the will is not something we make inherently as a function of our natural powers but as something that comes from the action of Divine grace. Hence, Luther himself questions the utility of the term “free will” as a concept.

It’s worth noting that Lutherans [the theological tradition, not the man] believe that our resistance to grace, however, comes as a function of our natural will because of Original Sin’s intrusion… and we could only naturally choose God if the Fall weren’t an issue. That is what Christ’s power accomplishes, removing that barrier by taking our sins upon Himself. Perhaps in that sense restoring “free will” as most people mean it, albeit acknowledging it cannot exist as a “libertarian free will” (arbitrary ability to choose “not” to do something regardless of natural limits of time and knowledge) as Erasmus was asking for…

Other Protestants, such as John Calvin built upon this idea to make ideas like Double Predestination where God’s determination is absolute for both capacities of rejection and reconciliation. However, Lutherans have always had a balanced approach that considers Luther’s reference to “bondage” to refer to the “nature of man before regeneration by grace” (cf. Formula of Concord Epitome) and that our will, as Luther also says, is truly free in Christ as Luther describes in “On the Freedom of a Christian.”

Is this the issue you’re trying to address? Are you saying some of the Protestants took a turn at Albuqurque and missed the (very subtle, and often difficult to formalize…) point of Luther? Or are you saying that the Church as a whole was wrong to side with Augustine against Pelagius (who insisted salvation can be done only by free will without Christ’s merit)? The Eastern Orthodox, FWIW, never had the discussion due to a different conception of Original Sin as “Ancestral Sin” but the principle behind this exists in their teachings at a less formalized level.

At any rate… I, myself, view it as a compatibilist on this topic. Free will exists, but there are definitely things that can limit it according to the natural laws that govern it. Theologically speaking, this includes where Original Sin binds someone’s will against God. Likewise, ontologically speaking, it’s impossible for us to “will” ourselves to “dip the sun into the moon” or some other nonsense which is fundamentally impossible.

P.S. I’ve kind of been dreading having to ask this question for a while, but it’s obviously a necessary point to be discussed…

EDIT: Sorry about all the edits. LOTS of details I’m trying to summarize into this one because it’s a HUGE topic. (Can you tell I’ve dealt with this topic a lot?)

garbotalk: Your are quite intelligent in pursuit of faith. I applaud this. I come from a family with many scholars who can debate an aspect of faith all day long, striving to reach the exact right answer. I thought I knew the answers.

And then I encountered aliens, and everything became so much harder to define, because their faith added even more permutations to consider.

I think that is why Jesus said it is easier for children because they accept faith without question. They don’t agonize over its implications or intricacies.

All we need is the faith of a mustard seed and we could walk on water! That blows my mind.

My advice is to realize that no matter what choices you make and accept about your faith, you will find out when you get to heaven that there was error. We all will. All we can really do is review the words of the One, and try to find a personal meaning and connection to them. And then let them bear fruit from within us to our fellow man. Bottom line, refer to the basics and you’ll be okay.

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” Matthew 22:37-39

emperorbma: A lot of these years of study were probably borne from the dire nature of my conversion. Fighting ol’ Scratch to keep one’s soul is a harrowing thing. Although it was only a few months in retrospect, seeing God’s grace in action seems to lead to a certain kind of “clinginess” that pulls in extra things you don’t need. (like “Young Earth Creationism” which I eventually rejected again…)

Anyways, I’ve mellowed to a more moderate position over the years. I think I’ve come to understand that some of the issues that the more conservative types pearl clutch about are more nuanced than they tend to understand. Some had suggested I be a pastor. But, as stated, my denomination considers “Young Earth Creation” an official interpretation and I’d also have had to leave my family.

Unraveling YEC involved a kind of rejection of one side of Luther’s thought process while justifying it with another side of his thought process. It’s weird. I’ve also seen far too many people deconvert for me to be comfortable with being pushy. One tried to get me to explain God’s purpose for Mormonism and used it as part of his pretext to deconvert. Another was a gay person who went “Jewish-Buddhist” before finally going whole hog atheist. Sometimes that makes me worry if I don’t have a bit of a “millstone” for not being able to prevent that.

But anyways… what I’m discussing with y’all more recently would be… shall we say… rather heterodox from our perspective. And I have to do that from a position of ignorance. It just seems like I’ve got some kind of sign that makes most unusual phenomenon like UFOs or ETIs avoid my direct observation. Aside from the whole thing with ol’ Scratch and seeing God’s grace push that away, I’ve not seen direct evidence of much else. Indirect evidence, I see tons of. Lots of OOP things like technology in ancient Egypt that doesn’t fit and lots of world leaders going to Antarctica for some reason. Anyways, I try to operate from good faith on this topic and it’s a very a useful thought experiment for me to consider since it’s definitely a question that could get a hard proof one of these days. (Progressives love to float the question “what if we discovered ETIs? Would it destroy your religion?” Frankly, I find that annoying… the religion will be fine, it will just have to adapt to the new information; it’s only those who are hardline literalists that might have problems)

I get what you’re saying here. RD is a bit of a can of worms theologically. It’s obvious that our earth teachings evolved in somewhat different ways than his and some of this will have to involve a ton of dialog if we ever do get “ael” status.

I guess it’s really not going to matter what the state of Luther’s soul is when my own soul is in before the Judgment Seat. And I certainly have to trust that God has led me right and that my own sins will have His forgiveness. But it would be nice to have some comfort that we’ll all be in the same place, though. I feel a certain… empathy… for that poor monk who had to struggle against ol’ Scratch trying to take over his mind like I did. I also like how brutally honest Luther can be even if I think his penchant for literalism and abhorrence of allegory is sometimes misplaced.

Anyways, sorry to dump another large post… lots to think about here.

garbotalk: I have always admired Luther. But like all heroes, there is a human side that holds blemishes. Even Moses threw down the ten commandments written by the finger of God.

What I admire most in someone is their sincerity combined with humility. All true seekers have that. An arrogant person can’t fathom that they are wrong. And an insincere person can’t commit to an ideology without constant hypocrisy. And you are definitely a seeker of truth, like me. Keep seeking.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

In truth, I observe from all.

The Ael’kayeen’s perspectives.

The Draco’s perspectives.

The Animal’s perspectives.

Will any side speak of the evils and flaws of themslves?

There was no revealed humility from the Ba’alaket when they came to this sub. It unfolded as an interrogation on their part and then reclusiveness from unforeseen politics.

Who is right to say the other is more right than the other and according to what?

The One sits back and wants to see how you figure it out.

Both highers above the animals have everything to lose. They know this.

If the animals stay as animals then were they designed to be harvested?

No different than how we already chip and harvest our own animals on a daily basis. Because we already claim to know what is best for them and ourselves.

We can become the light that may bring harmony in this universe between such conflicting and universal issues. To have our voice and currency speak for all harvested and abused sentience across all species.

Or

We can become something much worse than how those perceive the Ael’Kayeen after these 1000 years. The monster you created from your inconsiderate and perverted abuses. The worse part of that truth is that it will be permitted to rein in the universe. And the damned who were in our shackles will be liberated to join that plight.

Everyone’s actions and inactions right now determine some of these courses.

garbotalk: When you remember that ALL of those species of beings read what is said here, you begin to understand certain posturing taking place for political purposes. There are several layers of information given here. Direct information to all of us, and indirect.

For my part, there is nothing more that I want than peace between all of us, averting a horrific apocalypse in which many will die. For that to happen, there must be humility and repentance from some of the most arrogant of beings, including us.

I have seen kindness from Kayeen. I have seen a great desire to understand us from Kayeen. I have seen patriotism from Kayeen. I have been protected by Kayeen. But at what cost to humanity would my continued association bring? I will not become Siriv and betray my own, whatever is offered.

I don’t want my contact to die, or others like him, however misguided they are. We have much in common. Yet they willingly tow the line and follow the orders of the Directors who are truly evil.

They must stand up against what they would know is wrong, if they still had empathy. But the augmented, which is most of them, have obliterated that part of the brain for the tech offered. They lost humor! They lost empathy! They lost compassion! They are broken, and seek our bodies to fix them. It isn’t right, but most of them will do whatever they can to live on, no matter the cost to us, or to their own souls.

But then I remember the Kayeen who warned the Naigaje about their impending attack. And I know the work of the Calibration Society is effective. And hearts and minds can change in the rest, especially if they follow the One.

So I am hopeful.

[deleted]: I wish I could say the same for witnessing such humility and compassion. I can not.

I have witnessed and known such terrors on the earth. Such terrible things for what we are capable of.

Despite such vileness, I am with the One. That we can be better than these horrors.

ACuriousHumanBeing: You walk in circles where you’ll see that constantly.

There is a mountain with two sides I’ve thought of. One with jagged ocean rock, known for suicides per being so treacherous and violent, as waves thrash it; on the other side a calming, beautiful valley, with trees and a calm lake.

If you just walk by the jagged plane, you’ll miss the flourishing plane on the other side.

My advice to such a man, said with a smile, would be to peak at the other side, even though for it may be a long hike, for its sight alone will restore your soul to its rightful joyous glory.

Like, if you can. Volunteer for a soup kitchen. And maybe even bring aspects of that valley you saw to that more jagged and ugly side, and shelter what flowers you find may grow there, letting, and helping them to flourish.

ACuriousHumanBeing: “I don’t mourn his passing. Instead I mourn the life he could have had, if only he could have opened his heart for those of us who cared about him.”

I thought this quote would fit here. Its from a woman named Susan whose husband put out a hit for her. In the quote she’s talking about how she feels about everything since her passing. I imagine god may feel like this, as forking fractals find fraudulent fates.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Sure, but Ex, what’s your view of the matter? What do you see?

[deleted]: I will let Kansas speak to some of this.

There are hidden denials and layers of naivety that goes across many… gardens. Not just this one.

To each of their own.

We are our own plant. And we have many gardeners who have their ways at keeping this young maturing plant alive.

It has been crushed with a rock. Watered. Pissed and shit on. Incinerated… Guided. Wallowing it its own filth.

Still growing.

The gardeners sometimes forget that they too are plants still growing as well.

ACuriousHumanBeing: And sometimes the plant grows in spite of, not because of them, a reflection of every spiteful thing thrown at it.

garbotalk: The Kayeen have had their time. Now they want ours. It’s one thing to claim to be future versions of us, but had they not done their gene splicing to Homo Erectus (as they did to themselves) to provide them with our genetic material, we would not be mentally advanced but emotionally immature as we are, nor as easily manipulated.

There is a story of how they wanted to return to their lives and leave heaven, so God sent them back, but not in the present as they wished, but to the past.

Or you can say that Lucifer and his rebellious angels were kicked from heaven and fell on the world.

Of these three versions of the same tale, the Kayeen are selfish and greedy, with no empathy for us. They see us as product to mold to their use. They covet our bodies, but only value them to wear.

They think they’re doing us a favor by preventing our destruction, yet they are the ones who convinced our physicists (from Germany) to quit pursuing fusion for energy and instead work on fission for weapons, to redirect us away from answering the beacon.

They want good press. They are not Spock from Star Trek. They are not Legolas from Lord of the Rings. They are not Alita: Battle Angel.

They may be tall, large eyed, glowing and beautiful, but many of their souls are dark and malevolent.

THEY WANT TO WEAR US.

That’s enough of a nightmare scenario to fuel my desire to expose them for the rest of my life, no matter their origin.

LucePrima: I never intended to exonerate our potential future selves of any wrongdoing. That is NOT my point, and I’m not sure why you would read it that way

Rather I think we deserve to know the truth of our history, and I’d say that we have sufficient evidence here that the Kayeen are not ALL “dark and malevolent”

We spend a great deal of time vilifying a single member race of the Consortium when we know that there are many that profit off of our blood and our blindness

And we are certainly not the only planet to suffer

But we know there was at least one Kayeen that tried to lead us towards the One, and we now know him as Moses / Akhenaten

Just as there are Nagajie that seek to do the same, such as this sub’s namesake and resident Apkallu

But the other Nagaije we’ve met, in Shyee’s entourage, did not appear to share our teacher’s tolerance for monkeys

So it seems to me that our allies are limited to those with conscience, regardless of their birth parents

And remember that John of Patmos saw what he saw, and didn’t interpret

His ‘angels’ aren’t necessarily angelic, nor his ‘demons’ demonic

Lucifer means ‘bright one’ or ‘morning star’. Don’t we know some ‘shining ones’ that fell from the Assembly?

reptiliandude: “Potential future selves…”

You cannot travel backwards in time individually in any substantive way.

I swear, talking to you is like trying to reason with a water witch who insists that they can use their dick as a divining rod.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Oh my fucking god, that was savage.

reptiliandude: Your welcome. 😉

ACuriousHumanBeing: I swear, that is the most savage comment I’ve seen from you. Oh my god, he hit him where it hurts. My condolences dank!

lelekfalo: And hoping for an iota of patience or explanation from you is like trying to get blood out of a turnip.

PrinceWizdom: What do you expect? The guy spends most of his time here giving us answers. Is he getting paid for his efforts? All he gets are us, a bunch of ungrateful monkeys that think that we are entitled to is knowledge. He is not under any obligation to me or you or anyone. Get it through to your head. He is not here to save us or some sort of noble pursuit like that. He’s here to save his own and anything else he achieves along the way is an extra.

He is not beholden to any of us and you’d best be grateful for what he has already done for us, lest he throws his hands up in the air and leaves saying “fuck these guys”. If he sees stupid shit from anyone he’s not going to pull any punches and you should know that been around here so long.

lelekfalo: I am very aware of that, and am positive I have defended RD many times to you in the past in the very manner you just did. Do not turn the sentiments I have shared with you in private around on me in public and claim them as your own, regardless of how your heart has changed on the matter.

I just think it would behoove everyone here to try and not be assholes to others who are trying to understand things.

PrinceWizdom: This has nothing to do with my sentiments with you in private. This is seeing you pulling some bullshit and pointing it out to you as I do it with everyone else. It is you who wrongly assumed I had some agenda behind what I said. I didn’t. I just saw your bullshit and called it out for what it was, like i always do.

As for being an asshole; do you see your own hypocrisy? You act like RD owes you a answer and start acting pissy when he calls out idiocy for what it is. So who’s the bigger asshole? Someone acting entitled and getting pissed off when their blown off because of their idiocy or someone that calls out stupidity when he sees it? According to conventional wisdom the answer should be obvious but hey you tell me

LucePrima: What’s that Snake?

I understand that time is complicated for you, but at this point you should be accustomed to checking things like time stamps to orient yourself in the present

This was written before your clarification. At the time of it’s writing, I thought the Kayeen may have been our potential future selves, specifically those that fell from the Assembly into “a long time ago in a galaxy far far away…”

I thought this might be plausible because it was believed to be true by none other than the author of VALIS, who must’ve gotten something right to get that currency

And while I understand now that’s just a myth, the Kayeen nevertheless appear to me more than just a cautionary tale for humanity, but a roadmap for the worst of us

That said, I’m honestly not sure what invited the divining ‘rod’ comment. I don’t know what you expect. I am trying to absorb a body of information that is a vast departure from our experience and furthermore often flies in the face of both mainstream science and religion

From my perspective, why wouldn’t time travel be possible? Didn’t the Society drop clues all over this planet about it’s future inhabitants while they terraformed it, hundreds and hundreds of millions years before primitive man even descended from the trees?

You are asking each of us to understand the world from a perspective that we can hardly imagine and will likely never in our lives directly experience

Flying through stars… Connecting to another sentient creature… Existing across potentialities that we can hardly fathom…

I accept that these things are true, even though I have only your word to go on. I for one am neither an astrophysicist nor a mathematician. I am just a guy that believed you when I found “Ask a Reptilian…” several years ago

I understand that your time here is difficult, RD. I understand how hard it can be to keep it together sometimes as well. You know this because you know me, and I have shared with you many of my challenges here. And my challenges pale before what you in your many realities must face

But such a predicament does not make an easy excuse for being a dick

In fact, your many blessings demand that you be held to a higher standard than any of us

reptiliandude: Reptilian
“Mos” was not Kayeen.

He was very much a human possessing Hebrew blood and was raised among those who lived in that “Big House” (Pharaoh).

As for my focus upon the Kayeen, it is to provide simplicity as humans have already been conditioned to think in terms of twos, and to extend the narrative beyond any more than this is fraught with difficulties when a fight is required.

Think of the Super Bowl, the Word Cup, Ford vs. Chevy, Toyota vs. Honda, Republican vs. Democrat, Good vs. Evil etc.

Those who win “wars” be they in business or sporting events do not do so by complicating things so that they are difficult to follow.

Here’s an example…

I saw a billboard advertisement for Bud Light the other day where it said “100% less corn syrup than…” and they mentioned the competition.

To express your methodology would mean holding a conference to explain that there isn’t any corn syrup in beer and that this was just a tactic used by Budweiser advertising reps to play upon people’s ignorance by appearing to be a beverage made of natural ingredients and this is a common tactic used by blah blah blah blah blah…

But the gauntlet has been thrown down, Dank.

What is your response? To explain the history of advertising? To rally the intellectuals and the talkers who can’t even even present a “palsy push-up” to someone who is exploiting ignorance but can easily back away and say, “We were just kidding. We thought you were smart enough to get the joke… Look who thinks that you’re too stupid to get it and has to bore you with a long-winded explanation about…”

The “reptilian” way would be to simply put up another billboard right afterwards that says, “Miller Lite: 100% less KALE in our hops.”

See what I mean?

This is another reason why you and I butt heads so often.

Because, you keep on objecting and trying to complicate things; searching to exonerate or absolve in the name of a formula which has the Dank brand emblazoned upon it.

And then, when I call you on it, you claim that you’re simply trying to understand.

Saying to people here that Moses was a Kayeen is not helpful.

Because, Mos/Moshe/Moses was not a Kayeen, despite what the imagery your dreams and visions have led you to conclude.

The world needs “milkmaids,” who are ready to be at the right place at the right time to talk about the “Cowpox” as the good doctor walks past them during his morning constitutional.

You don’t need yet another committee to put together tournaments for would-be knights who claim to have spent,”Years studying the blade…” to joust at shadows because they imagine that their chemically induced visions possess more validity than a fellow who actually did spend years and years and YEARS observing fractals over people’s heads and furiously taking notes while committing their common values into memory.

Have you any idea where the fuck I actually came from?

Can you point out my star in the heavens?

Can you even point out something closer to home—that life-support coffin of mine—making its way quietly among the flickering satellites that fall around this world?

Would you recognize this overwritten body whose human soul was delivered into heaven by his own mother so that I could try and awaken my own kind to their wickedness?

Have you seen her eyes frozen in horror as her death was exacerbated by the sheer terror of seeing my own Naigajian memories while she travailed?

Think before you speak of something that could lead people astray from the path of their deliverance from these things.

And who are you to presume to admonish me for the voice or the tone I use?

My demeanor and how I present myself here are my own to decide, for I do nothing here without purpose.

As for how I concern myself with you, it suffices that after so many offenses you still cleave to the ground.

fieldlilly: But such a predicament does not make an easy excuse for being a dick In fact, your many blessings demand that you be held to a higher standard than any of us

Well, I actually think that his predicament is a very good reason for him to get frustrated, angry, and even lash out at people who should be doing something but who are not. And he isn’t just doing it for those of us here on Reddit, it is our entire species. Quite frankly, that isn’t being a dick, it is actually showing a type of kindness to that person, or species in the long run.

I mean, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and well, if I needed a smack across the face, I would hope that a friend would give me that smack. Otherwise they are not a friend, they are either a groupie or a casual acquaintance… neither of which are really worth the time of day.

Giving simpering platitudes, or even giving up answers too easily instead of making us work at getting at them and open our minds and our eyes ever wider would be the asshole thing to do here.

Frankly, I infinitely prefer dicks to assholes.

PrinceWizdom:  In all seriousness. There’s absolutely no point in telling people what they want to here. It’s what these asskissers in corporate America do. Telling people what they want/like to hear is like telling children a bed time story. They listen to it, feel happy and go to sleep. You’ve got to tell them what they don’t want to hear even at the risk of becoming enemies because that’s the only way to beat out their bullshit and make them open their eyes to reality.

But such a predicament does not make an easy excuse for being a dick In fact, your many blessings demand that you be held to a higher standard than any of us

Saying something like this to one that made multiple jumps of over 1500 light years to get to this shithole of a planet to save and undeserving species that just stopped throwing shit at each other, is the height of arrogance, idiocy and stupidity. I applaud this Naigaje in human skin for even being here after hearing platitudes and rants like these. In his place, just like Jonah I’d have given the necessary knowledge and waited in the shade until Nineveh was destroyed so that I can pick up some trinkets from the rubble.

Also credit to Garbotalk for trapping him here by stumbling on to a legal technicality✌🏽

fieldlilly: The line between asshole and dick is a pretty thin one (I think in female terms it is called the “taint”). Where I distinguish it is if your aim is actually trying to learn something yourself while simultaneously enlightening something to the person you are interacting with vs. somebody who just wants to make somebody look bad or feel bad for not viewing things the same way as them. There are hard and fast facts that cannot be denied… and then there are viewpoints that still require careful deliberation and reflection.

My view is that RD is pretty much spot on for most things. There are a few potentiallities out there that we can still influence with our actions, though, and I sincerely hope that he helps us to act in manners that influence those potentiallities in a manner that is most beneficial to us as a whole. As a qualifier, I mean us as a species as we see ourselves in the best possible outcome as opposed to what an alien species or consortium of species sees as the best possible outcome for them.

I see RD as a one off of the consortium in the manner that he still remembers what that “tree-like” entity that stayed the hand of the destroyers of this world, 13,000 years ago (human calculation, not taking into account universal standardized time) charged the “caretakers” or “consortium” to do to in order that we may fullfill our purpose for the “Assembly” and Universe in general.

We cannot fullfill that mission or purpose as slaves to a species that wears us like a cloak, or as “cattle” or “lab rats” whose sole purpose has been reduced from ascending to a higher level with our own unique and beautiful contributions to real time collaboration between species, to devolving as nothing more than genetic material to be continually harvested to the benefit of a decrepit and licentious few.

We were made to be more. Those of us who see that need to be prodded out of complacency to see that and do something about it. NOT WAIT until the worst comes to pass and simply try to survive the tribulations. All who have a spirit of independence, rebellion and in some cases, just plain ornery-ness need to use it for it’s intended purpose… i.e. help the human species survive as more than just product.

fieldlilly: No. He is simply addressing the potential hyper-war like eventuality that occurs without us achieving real-time communication before the Assembly intervention.

reptiliandude: Reptiliandude…

He’s not the alien you asked for…

He’s the alien you needed.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Better you than some mentally retarded vulcans

explorer1357: Isn’t it…

… Not the alien we deserved

… But the alien we needed

Firstladytree: Words so freaking true they should come with a song. Someone please make a song.

reptiliandude: Ah…

Well, in that case he’s the one doing the “divining,” and I’m the one being the “dick.”

(PNDR)

This sort of thing does happen occasionally.

Looks out window…

Appears to be “partly cloudy” today.

fieldlilly: We have had hints from both you and u/shyeejanut that our future selves may want to commit warfare on your kindred. Would you care to elaborate on this a little? Perhaps offer some insight on some of the potentialities that make it come to pass?

ACuriousHumanBeing: I can’t help but imagine them having Venus will by a lynchpin in that.

PrinceWizdom: Oh geez. I can’t 😂😂😂….

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/d/d1/Cloudy_with_a_chance_of_meatballs_theataposter.jpg

fieldlilly: Oh, and there are worse things under the sun than being a “dick”

garbotalk: Moses was human.

I know there are repentant Kayeen, but they are few. The mental controls placed on lower Kayeen from the thought police is severe. Some are not even aware of the Director’s full plans for us. They need to hear the truth too. Perhaps more will be willing to remove their augmentations and disconnect as the repentant have done.

Yes, all the Consortium aliens need to reconsider their participation in our planned destruction.

lelekfalo: Shouldn’t we show some compassion to the repentant and ignorant, though, regardless of species?

I am disgusted by the Consortium’s intended plans for our species. I understand there is a difference, though, between those who are directly responsible, those complicit, those merely ignorant, and those repentant. Shouldn’t different considerations be given to each?

I’d imagine there would be some whose hearts may be softened by extending an olive branch on our end. Others, of course, are beyond any forgiveness I am capable of.

garbotalk: God must judge as He sees fit.

Who is more responsible, the murderer or the accomplice? The planner, the benefactor or those who implement it? All will be held accountable.

Investors will claim ignorance and blame the Consortium. (Adam) The Consortium will blame the Kayeen for leading them into it. (Eve) The Kayeen will blame humanity for needing redirection. (Snake).

We will be judged for allowing them to manipulate us away from God and accept the mark. But for those who resist, there is greater reward because we suffered and yet still rejected their constant manipulation. We stood fast. That is why some of us will one day be higher than the angels.

lelekfalo: I absolutely agree, but still hold out hope for those who resist and repent.

garbotalk: Yes. There is a prophesy that says humanity will be a bridge for peace between them. Some probably think the peace is via the Consortium that supervises us, forcing them to work together.

I think it will be in our willingness to forgive all of them, if they repent. It is why I am so hard on them. They must repent!

If RD could repent when he hated us so much that he helped to plan and administer our destruction, any of them could.

Right now, their hearts are hardened. They assume we will fall without their direct guidance, that it is too late for us to be redeemed. They’ve written us off.

But many of our names are written in the book of life. They underestimate the One and His ability to change our hearts, and theirs. Some must fall, but others will live life abundantly.

I look forward to the 1,000 years of peace and understanding, when all will be revealed and the One returns.

lelekfalo: Oh, absolutely. That peace will definitely come from us, not them.

Sometimes I pity them, honestly.

LucePrima: Well put

And their repentance must be expressed in action

Jophiel has given his life to set the example for the universe

As have many others that watch over us from ‘above’

There is much more at stake than this planet

For His Kingdom Come

ACuriousHumanBeing: Honestly I hope its not through the Consortium. Its proven to be a machine of evil here. One I hope our progeny never approach again.

ACuriousHumanBeing: How can that happen?

1,000 years hidden away, and then as RD strongly speaks about, a release of a humanity that rapes the stars.

How is that peace? Or more in the sense we are the reason they all rally together, united in destroying infidels cast out and leftover.

Or is there another one not quite as well…shit?

garbotalk: Everything is possible. All we can do is deal with the present and try to set up our children for the future, to create a legacy.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Indeed

If the future was certain, free will would be invalidated.

//

I bet this is part of how those Kain tricked themselves. They work so hard to predict an entire universe unbeholden to their own choices. Every calculation so perfect, every plan so pristine…they set themselves up that all determinable, when not even god knows what choice we’ll make! (Though its will is done regardless, our choices are still regardless our own, per his own proclamation and creation of free will.) They live in a universe they cannot control, seeking to control the waves instead of riding it, when it is the sailor that is beholden to the ocean’s waves.

//

How do you want to work on maybe making things go by smoothly.

reptiliandude: The Consortium believes that the current plan provides the most sustainable model and is in the best interests of the human species.

lelekfalo: And the Consortium, as a whole, is wrong and evil.

My question was more in regards to individuals of Consortium member species who take a less active part in Consortium dealings.

I imagine that there are at least a few individuals of said species who are either guilty through inaction, ignorant of the gravity of the situation, or outright against it… including some Kayeen. Shouldn’t we be considerate of the likely existence of those individuals before we write off all Kayeen or Consortium member species as “bad?”

Just like there are some humans who are Siriv, some who are ignorant, and the few of us here who know the truth and want to put a stop to it…

reptiliandude: Guilty of what, exactly?

If I may play the role of “Devil’s Advocate” for a moment…

Yours is a species changing its own political structure over false issues promoted by dysfunctionals who deny the existence of the thousands of clear distinctive biological markers between male and female.

That alone is indicative of your inability to process the simplest of truths.

And you possess nuclear weapons.

MaxwellsJinn: Gosh, I wonder who made this happen.

Seems like ya can’t get the chance to fuck up a society on your own these days, someone else does it for you before you get a chance.

reptiliandude: Guilty as charged.

But bear in mind that this doesn’t absolve the treacherous, the disloyal and the greedy from having taken the bait.

Understand that we operate by legal principles and statutes of our own, and that we have to demonstrate to those hand-wringers in our midst the intrinsic incompetence of the human species, and your predictable inability to rule over yourselves without fucking things up.

You should be grateful.

One of the Consortium’s other plans was to compel a Hasidic-costumed suicide bomber to detonate himself in the Dome of the Rock.

Imagine the Middle Eastern high jinks resulting from that one. 😂

In the years since however, your own narcissism and trust in liars and opportunists has provided the means to empower a system of rule not bound to the inefficiencies of partisan politics.

Enjoy the upcoming “Fall.”

MaxwellsJinn: If you listen real close, you can already hear the merchants mourning for Babylon, and it seems to me, from what you’ve said, that the weeping for money lost will spread a bit farther than this ol’ rock, won’t it?

The smart thing to do would be for the Consortium to fold and leave the table before the “staff” realize they’re cheating and they get thrown out of the establishment and lose everything.

“Don’t screw around with your little brother who doesn’t know better while I’m out of the house, kids.”

Dad’s almost home. Better act natural, big bro.

reptiliandude: Indeed. For the “Kings of the East” are rising.

garbotalk:

Guilty as charged.

But bear in mind that this doesn’t absolve the treacherous, the disloyal and the greedy from having taken the bait.

So the Consortium manipulates the world toward distraction, narcissism and indulgence. And if we succumb to these temptations, this baiting, we prove ourselves unworthy of ruling ourselves, so our bodies, our birthrights are forfeit? Seriously?

Understand that we operate by legal principles and statutes of our own, and that we have to demonstrate to those hand-wringers in our midst the intrinsic incompetence of the human species, and your predictable inability to rule over yourselves without fucking things up.

When you say “we”, you are representing the Consortium viewpoint, not your own, though we piss you off. I know this.

The hand-wringers in your midst are the only ones listening to the inner voice telling them that what they’re doing is WRONG! They realize that using your trickery, chicanery and manipulation of a lesser species like us to prove you’re oh so smarter than us is like taking candy from a baby.

God told you to help us up, not trick us into jumping off a cliff! Jesus said, “Get behind me, Satan!” when tempted into indulgence. Were that we could live up to His example and resist your plots, Consortium. I’m trying, as are many of us.

But though your manipulations may bring us to ruin, what will they do for you? Bring you money? Make you feel more powerful and more arrogant?

Then you’ve lived too long. You miss the purpose of your life if you only advance through the theft of the birthrights of the naive. It’s shameful.

You should be grateful.

I’m grateful you are exposing them.

One of the Consortium’s other plans was to compel a Hasidic-costumed suicide bomber to detonate himself in the Dome of the Rock.

Imagine the Middle Eastern high jinks resulting from that one.

Evil incarnate. Indefensible. Good luck with God.

In the years since however, your own narcissism and trust in liars and opportunists has provided the means to empower a system of rule not bound to the inefficiencies of partisan politics.

Enjoy the upcoming “Fall.”

If we fall and you enable these succubi to wear our faces and pretend to be us, I pray that the blood on your hands and stain on your souls will be exposed to all of your domains, all of your conquered and manipulated species who have been required to put their trust in you to lead them. I pray they will gather together and rise up to take you down so far, that you never ever have the opportunity to rule over anyone again, not even yourselves. I pray that you, Consortium, are rebooted.

What we really need are some fire breathing dragons to torch the ancient, undead white walkers who want to trample our souls and clutch on to our bodies.

https://youtu.be/BrZYGT8hpOk

BlurpleFart: https://youtu.be/RFXkdXBZCDE

ACuriousHumanBeing: In response to your devilish advocate.

Americans/Europeans at least.

Ye forget to mention Chinese and Russians, who very much take value in the differences and appreciation of the male and female.

Need some evidence for my claims? Their history has a long chain of respecting these inherent differences.

lelekfalo: Guilty of meddling. Guilty of abusing. Guilty of obstructing.

Our society is dysfunctional, yes, but how much of that is due to how much we’ve been fucked with? We had no chance to develop organically. Look at how advanced your kind were before you first interacted with the Kayeen.

We didn’t get that chance.

For as amnesiac as we are, we are also kept blind and dumb by those who benefit from our forgetfulness.

So, yes, GUILTY.

Yet I still believe the repentant deserve forgiveness.

garbotalk: It is a child’s argument to defend their own misbehavior by blaming another. Some of us are foolish at times. What of it? It does not in any way justify what the Consortium is planning to do to us, to our souls, and to God.

Turning us into mindless puppets may be profitable for you, but harms us in every way possible. Our souls are cut off. God no longer receives information from us. How dare you do this to Him?

Our viewpoint is so important to God that He gave dominion over this world He made for humanity to humanity, that He sent His son to die as a sacrifice for humanity, that He stopped all of you in your tracks when your fighting nearly destroyed humanity, THAT is how much we mean to God. Who are YOU to say otherwise?

For crying out loud, the continent of Africa is etched with the shape of our skull! We belong here, in the universe, as ourselves alone, without you stealing our God given birthright from us, our bodies, our minds, or access to our souls.

There is but one unforgivable sin, and the Consortium intends to do it to an entire species, as a new business model for application throughout the universe, one world at a time.

Remember what the One did to Legion? Next time, there won’t be a herd of pigs standing by.

Bottom line, there is no coming back for what is intended for us. There will be a reckoning. Know this, Consortium.

You do like to provoke, Sticky Beak. Look what you made me say. And I still want to punch something, like your face.

Fortunately for us, you do these provocations for our benefit, that we are motivated to stand up for ourselves against this evil the adversary whispers in the ears of our keepers. Thank you. Also, slap!!!!

fieldlilly: Guilty of this:

Your species, upon recognizing the threat that Kayeen and their allies were to developing species, to “reptilian” business venture, and ideals of free will sought to destroy what was both their greatest weapon and their only chance of saving their species from their own greedy, selfish and narcissistic mistakes they made with thier genome, i.e. the human species.

When your hand was stopped and you were forced to pay for the destruction you had wrought, your Consortium member species quickly forgot about the righteous anger that the Kayeen exploitation of the human species had engendered in them and took up the same business model, only slightly modified.

Instead of direct interference, it became whispers in the ear, it became grooming individuals and giving them advantages over the people and ideas that you did not want to flourish. It became amplifying one voice while muting another. Since it was human voices, you could hide behind self-righteousness and say “They did this to themselves, you see what they are like?” While egging on and financing lunatics, narcissists and sociopaths (or creating them as you go) you simply say “See, this is what happens when they are left to their own devices, there is no other way to save them except to control them at an individual level. If we don’t, not only will they destroy themselves, but our economy and truce along with it. Chipping and depopulation are the only way.”

That is what the Consortium is guilty of. Hypocrites, manipulators and liars. Pretending to advance and care for our species, but instead pushing all of the self destruct buttons so they can get approval to do “emergency measures” to gain even more direct control of us as a product.

Firstladytree: What is it about us humans that makes us look away from the most simple explanations?

When you tell me things, my thought is usually “oh, well DUH! That makes total sense! Why didn’t I even consider that!?”

I find this happening all the time. Like I’m searching for information that was right in front of me the entire time – if it was a snake it woulda bitten me, kinda thing.

You are always saying “it really is that simple”

But for us, it’s not! Why!!?

ACuriousHumanBeing: Interests in terms for them, not us.

There is no humanity per being chipped. There is only Kain and enslaved races.

I trust no beings who retardily believe moving a species away from god, the assembly, or whatever you call it is in our best interests. It is in there’s, as they see it anyway.

Even as their throats are slit by angels on high.

garbotalk: Why? It confuses me how such intelligent species can justify such an obvious error. Truly, I find it astounding how easy it is to disregard another’s suffering, to assume in arrogance that just because you’re old, you’re wise, to ignore and flagrantly disregard the very specific instructions given to you by God Himself, without deviation or permutation. Is it so hard?

This occurred within your lifetimes! If I had met in person the living God, and heard His voice when I was young, I’d damn well remember it all of my life, even when old. Did you forget His commands? Did you forget who we belong to, that He claimed us as His own? Do you really think He forgets? Do you not believe He will punish your arrogance?

He is our father. He is your father. He is patient, as a father is with his children. He’s giving you ample time to correct your ways, to reverse course before he must act. And He will act, with or without a beacon. Only fools cleave to their own meaningless words as justification for their behavior, ignoring the divine.

I fear for humanity, but I pity you, Consortium. I really do. Because I can die and be gently corrected, mostly for allowing you to manipulate me. But you may die and be resoundingly thrashed. Your soul will pay, as will your progeny alive now, for a very, very long time for the things you do, and plan to do. Turn back before it is too late!

Even if you are atheist, and you laugh at my words, remember what the burning tree did, and can do, whoever you believe Him to be. You cannot stand against Him. And He has not forgotten us, I promise you with all that I am or ever may be. KNOW THIS.

LucePrima: Not exactly human. His remains suggest otherwise, as does the art of that time

Perhaps he was a hybrid?

His skull is shaped the same as a Boskop

Whose bodies we found at the southern tip of Africa, where they had been “put to the sword”

garbotalk: Moses hasn’t been found. The Naigaje who disturbed it, including RD, were sent packing by the boy Jesus.

LucePrima: Fair point. But the human Moses might be entirely fictional

I am referring to Akhenaten as Moses, a connection which RD has made several times, as have several scholars of history

Notably Graham Hancock, who has gotten closer to unveiling the truth of our own history than anyone else I’m aware of

I’ve edited my comment above, to make that connection clearer

garbotalk: Akhenaten=Moses.

His true grave is undiscovered, though many are looking, including the Kayeen.

RD and other Naigaje found it. Jesus stopped them, and made them return it as they found it. He said it was the tomb of a King and they had no right to disturb it. He kicked them off the planet so they would not interfere with His mission.

LucePrima: For those who are not familiar (like me), here’s PKD on the Black Iron Prison, from his gnostic exegesis Tractates Cryptica Scriptura, which I’ve lifted from the wiki article:

… if you superimposed the past (ancient Rome) over the present (California in the twentieth century) and superimposed the far future world of The Android Cried Me a River over that, you got the Empire, as the supra- or trans-temporal constant. Everyone who had ever lived was literally surrounded by the iron walls of the prison; they were all inside it and none of them knew it.

Does this remind anyone else of what RD said about Scientology… that Hubbard had “gotten close” with his identification of the thetan and belief that many thetans are trapped here – too many for the bodies that are available – and thus we are each infested by many who wish to incarnate

Think you might have some ideas, u/fieldlilly

LucePrima: Here’s an interesting read on PKD’s ‘divine madness’. The article opens with some familiar enough imagery and references:

In February of 1974, Philip K. Dick’s life changed. While he was recovering from dental surgery, he claims, he had a spiritual epiphany. It started with a delivery from the local pharmacy. Three days after Dick’s surgery, an order of medications arrived in the hands of a stunning delivery woman. She wore a gold fish pendant that she said was a symbol of early Christianity. After taking the package, Dick saw a mysterious flash of pink light and collapsed onto his bed. A mystical contemplative, Dick supposed the pink light was a spiritual force activated by the fish pendant. As he lay in bed, visions of abstract paintings appeared, followed by philosophical ideas and engineering blueprints.

Over the next few months, the visions continued to develop. Dick saw streams of “shiny fire” moving through his environment and entering his body. He caught glimpses of a strange, humanoid being that appeared to blend in with his surroundings. He named it Zebra, and decided it was a benign deity that could “enter anything, animate or inanimate” and “take volitional control of causal processes- mimesis, mimicry, camouflage.” He saw a portal of pink light open, and out of it stepped a team of tiny three-eyed extraterrestrials who warned there was a cosmic conspiracy behind the assassinations of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King Jr. The aliens said the ancient Roman Empire, stealthily hidden over the centuries but still active, was responsible. Rome “had come forward, by insidious and sly degrees, under new names, hidden by the flak talk and phony obscurations, at last into our world again.” Nixon was a modern Caesar. Frightening scenes of ancient Rome showed up, superimposed over Dick’s suburban California neighborhood. Dick felt guided by helpful spirits, especially one known as “Thomas,” who he believed to be an ancient Christian revolutionary.

A stunning delivery woman?

Streams of shiny fire?

I’m willing to bet “Zebra” has black (or blue) scales and lips filled with DMT kisses

Much like the one the delivery woman blew at PKD upon her departure…

ACuriousHumanBeing: Woah.

Firstladytree: Here are just a few random parallels I have noticed since diving into VALIS

u/shyeejanut does not communicate with us often. One thing she did ask was ‘what we did with all our horses.’ She also commented on this reddit conversation about VALIS.

The character in the book is named ‘Horselover Fat’

When I first heard of this, I instantly thought of her and wondered if any of it was related somehow. I still do not know. I looked into how PKD chose the name. What I found was that the name is a transliteration from Greek and German of Dick’s name.

2. RD has told us about the Passionflower and how it can be used as a ‘tuning device’. He said it would actually move in our hands.

During one part of the book, Fat is being interviewed by Dr. Stone:

”I think,” Dr. Stone said, “that when you tried to kill yourself you got in touch with reality for the first time.”

”Maybe so,” Fat said.

”What I am going to give you,” Dr. Stone said, opening a black suitcase on his small cluttered desk, “we term the Bach remedies.” He pronounced it batch. “These organic remedies are distilled from certain flowers which grow in Wales. Dr. Bach wandered through the fields and pastures of Wales experiencing every negative mental state that exists. With each state that he experienced he gently held one flower after another. The proper flower trembled in the cup of Dr. Bach’s hand and he then developed unique methods of acquiring an essence in elixir form of each flower and combination of flowers which I have prepared in a rum base.”

I instantly thought of the Passionflower when I heard this. (Audiobook)

3. When speaking about alien abductions a very long time ago, RD joked around to u/garbotalk (I think) about grabbing one of the ashtrays. There is a part in this book where Horselover Fat mentions ashtrays. The conversation also mentions lobotomies – something RD had also spoken to us about. Again, not sure if anything is related. These are just my observations thus far.

AN OLD FAVORITE: “The notice stipulated what could not be done, in order of descending importance. Near the top of the list all parties were told:

NO ONE IS TO REMOVE ASHTRAYS FROM THE WARD.

And later down the list it stated:

FRONTAL LOBOTOMIES ARE NOT TO BE PERFORMED WITHOUT THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE PATIENT.

’That should read “prefrontal,”‘ Doug said, and wrote in the ‘pre.’

’How do you know that?’ Fat asked.

’There’s two ways of knowing,’ Doug said. ‘Either knowledge arises through the sense organs and is called empirical knowledge, or it arises within your head and it’s called a priori.’ Doug wrote on the notice:

IF I BRING BACK THE ASHTRAYS, CAN I HAVE MY PREFRONTAL?

’You’ll be here ninety days,’ Fat said.”

4. RD has been speaking to us a lot about the Roman Empire and how people were back then. He says history is repeating itself.

Once, in a cheap science fiction novel, Fat had come across a perfect description of the Black Iron Prison, but set in the far future. So if you superimposed the past (ancient Rome) over the present (California in the twentieth century) and superimposed the far future world of The Android Cried Me a River over that, you got the Empire, as the supra- or trans-temporal constant. Everyone who had ever lived was literally surrounded by the iron walls of the prison; they were all inside it and none of them knew it.

And another part of the book: Touching the golden fish with one slender finger, the girl said, “This is a sign used by the early Christians.” Instantly, Fat experienced a flashback. He remembered—just for a half-second. Remembered ancient Rome and himself: as an early Christian; the entire ancient world and his furtive frightened life as a secret Christian hunted by the Roman authorities burst over his mind …. A month later as he lay in bed unable to sleep, in the semi-gloom … vague colors began to rush toward him … the vague colors abruptly froze into sharp focus in the form of modern abstract paintings, literally tens of millions of them in rapid succession. … A few days later, Fat woke up and saw ancient Rome superimposed on California 1974.

Is the black iron prison our quarantine?

My first thought about what it might be is actually sorta funny, but I’m going to keep it to myself, because I’m a lady.

[deleted]: Thank you for your help.

It has added value to mankind and for you.

Firstladytree: Nice work! I just downloaded it on audiobooks – can’t wait to listen!
