THE KAYEEN
The Vulnerability of Force Fields: Kinetic Defenses and the Danger of Metal-Melting Technology
In this tactical discussion, the participants analyze the unique vulnerabilities of alien defensive technologies, specifically focusing on the energy shields utilized by both the Kayeen and the Naigaje (reptiliandude’s species). Because these advanced force fields are engineered to instantaneously liquefy and melt incoming metal objects—such as bullets, implants, or jewelry—standard human weaponry is rendered entirely useless against them. To bypass these defensive barriers, the group explores non-metallic kinetic alternatives, noting that simple physical materials like rock, ceramic, or wooden sticks can penetrate the shields unaffected. The dialogue concludes with a sobering realization regarding the biological horrors of this technology, noting that a domestic animal or human attempting to cross such a barrier wearing a metal collar or filling would suffer catastrophic injuries.

PrinceWizdom: So if Rock and ceramic can kill the Kayeen through their force fields, what can be used to kill the Reptilians? I mean we need to be careful of them in general too right because we cannot guarantee the affiliation of one we may meet in future.
garbotalk: They have the same tech. The reptilians reverse engineered the metal melting shields.
PrinceWizdom: Oh, is that how they can destroy soil so easily? What that technology adapted from the Kayeen shield melting?
garbotalk: The insectoids are known for soil liquification.
The shields that melt metal would melt a bullet, or any metal that tries to cross it. Metal fillings, implants, belt buckets, jewelry, all would melt. We need alternatives if we want to cross their barriers.
PrinceWizdom: Guess we’ll have to train Fido to play fetch for more than just sticks. ;$
garbotalk: No collar!
dogsdontfly: Oh God, what an awful mental picture that painted…
