dogsdontfly: What option is there for those of us terrible at math and physics? Spreading knowledge of this interaction with you (or at least the importance of replying to the Wow! Signal)? Then won’t we fall into the same trap of the uneducated farmer never intended to be believed?
garbotalk: I wish there was a road map. But we’re on our own. I am not a scientist, so I will not be leading the beacon effort. But I can gather RD’s hints for those who can. I’m also informing as many of us that I can of our conditions in this universe. And I can defend humanity to aliens. That is how I’m using my talents that I have to offer to help humanity. And when more opportunities present themselves, I will do more.
What will you do for humanity? What are your talents? Look inward first, then take a step forward.
I’m not able to ignore our peril. That would require giving up, and that is not me.
