In this discussion, user fieldlilly defines a “beacon” as a symbolic guide—specifically linking it to the famous “WOW” signal—which is perceived as a message meant to lead humanity toward an advanced “Assembly” of beings capable of aiding human evolution and liberation. When this explanation triggers an inquiry from the Ba’alaket representative, Shuchi Taminakut, regarding whether fieldlilly practices the worship of Demeter, the forum participants clarify that such imagery is often a matter of cultural and historical context rather than literal religious practice. Fieldlilly distinguishes this usage from ancient traditions, while also clarifying that the term “Glycon” was intended as a reference to the entity known as “RD” or “Reptiliandude,” rather than the classical Eleusinian Mysteries, highlighting the ongoing tension in communication between human symbolic expression and the alien perspectives of the Ba’alaket.

Part 10: Demeter Worship & Alternate Religious Views

fieldlilly: At it’s very core meaning, in our language… a beacon is a signal guiding the seeker to their desired destination. Symbolically it is hope, direction and purpose.

The understanding that we recieved from Glycon is that the WOW signal recieved 40 years ago was such a beacon… Guiding us towards communication based upon the signature of hydrogen… and towards a advanced and sympathetic body or “Assembly” of beings and species that would assist us in both freeing us from being a product and that would help us evolve further as a species.

shyeejanut: You worship Demeter? Still? —Shuchi Taminakut. Ba’alaket

fieldlilly: While some individuals still (or again) practice the religion of Roman Paganism, it is not very widespread, nor universal. However, much symbology in the western hemisphere is derived from the Roman and Greek Pantheon, so what may appear to be a religious reference is more of a cultural context for how many in the western culture frame concepts that are otherwise difficult to express.

Lunar_Lander1: Demeter cult as such is quasi extinct but -as frequently in human history- anoher cult/religion keep its meaining under another form/name. So yes, we can say there is still Demeter worship today.

Lunar_Lander1: to say it from another point of view: The One is.

fieldlilly: Now that I have answered your question, I hope you will answer mine: What in my description of what a/the Beacon is make you think that I worship Demeter?

ACuriousHumanBeing: A reference to the Catholic Church’s roman roots perhaps?

lelekfalo: u/fieldlilly
would you be able to confirm that your use of “Glycon” was in reference to who we know as RD, and not a reference to the Eleusinian Mysteries?

fieldlilly: I confirm that my use of “Glycon” was in reference to whom we know as RD or Reptiliandude.
