The Phil Hendrie Broadcast Incident and Interstellar Misunderstandings
In this forum discussion, participants discuss an incident where reptiliandude interfered with a Consortium study on religious fundamentalism and snake-handling in the American Deep South. To protect the snake handlers from interference, reptiliandude mixed a comedic radio broadcast by Phil Hendrie featuring fake cannibalistic research into the files. This hoax inadvertently spread to advanced extraterrestrial species, causing shyeejanut and administrative representatives to be embarrassed after presenting the satire as genuine human behavior. While shyeejanut condemns this as opportunistic and unreliable, reptiliandude defends the action as a successful effort to preserve human religious freedom and autonomy.

Deckard256: If you’re gonna knock this forum, at least do it with humor.
The thing that I miss the most about uncle Art was his ability to entertain a idea without accepting it one way or another. It’s a skill, one that takes most of us a good deal of our lives to develop. Uncle Hendrie plays on that ability, and lack thereof, masterfully. Anyways, I dig this thread, RD. Rock on.👍 https://youtu.be/xu1yiiSzlAs
shyeejanut: I know of this Phil Hendrie. Years ago, my Jodoh once confounded us with what humans were like with radio station KFI. This has not been forgiven.
garbotalk: You have a confusing love/hate relationship with your song bird to not forgive something so enlightening.
reptiliandude: I had proven that the Kayeen had included that part in the last part of the Book of Mark where it talks about picking up serpents and drinking poison in order to kill early Christians.
The Ba’alaket were conducting a study on the placebo effect on the snake-handlers in the Deep South of the US, and they were including this as a part of a study on the negative effects of religious fundamentalism.
They were however, going to leave out my own research because the study was Consortium funded and the person leading the research grant appropriation was Kayeen and they didn’t want to offend him or his handlers.
I wasn’t opposed to it per se, but they were ignoring me and were going to jump the gun on some other activities I had going on here so I linked the files to some fake cannibal activities conducted by Christians as well.
I figured if the snake handlers were happy with what they were doing, well, ‘hallelujah!’ and leave them the hell alone.
We Naigaje are really big on religious freedom of expression.
garbotalk: Snake handling in pentacostal churches has more or less gone the way of the Dodo.
reptiliandude: It’s gone underground but was much more popular back in the day and the Consortium intention was to use it as a way of undermining the influence of Christianity.
So, I linked part of a Phil Hendrie radio episode with some fake research materials that looked like some Christians were encouraging blood-drinking and cannibalism.
‘All you can eat negro’ actually went interstellar.
And, was taken seriously for a while by several advanced species.
Pity there’s really no way to prove it to Phil but, it actually happened.
Come to think of it…
A couple of months later I actually had to explain to the administrators who dropped their contract what an ‘Andy Gump’ was.
garbotalk: Better than Gumby areptiliandudend Pokey.
Firstladytree: Can we know what the results were? Of snake handlers and the placebo?
reptiliandude: Not without opening an old wound and making some ‘people’ very angry.
ACuriousHumanBeing: So the Kayeen have infiltrated our religions and very own sacred texts?
reptiliandude: You would be correct in both regards. They were behind the deaths of many a Gnostic.
ACuriousHumanBeing: May the knowledge stolen be stripped back from their very souls.
reptiliandude: I have a rolled up newspaper and I know how to use it. Stop it.
ACuriousHumanBeing: Sorry
garbotalk: Why do you think they hid the dead sea scrolls in jars in caves?
shyeejanut: He tricked us into presenting this before administrative representatives as the actual transmissions of human discussions! We were convinced that there were hidden cannibalistic rights in the southern churches with a woman accusing a pastor of eating her son! She disparagingly referred to that practice as something I refuse to repeat as it is very disrespectful, but the language made us all look like fools when it was revealed what sort of a radio transmission it was. He did this to establish value in his own work here and it absolutely ruined our own presentation of human languages, as that group instead differed the rest of their questions to him! He did not deserve the contract which they gave him! He stole it from us!
garbotalk: That sounds like the crafty dragon I know. 😉
In the South, we play with our babies and say, “You’re so sweet, I’ll eat you up!” as we blow bubbles on their bellies to tickle them and make them laugh. We’re certainly not cannibals, especially in our churches.
That you would even entertain the idea that we would eat babies shows you don’t understand us at all.
CookieStarBurst: We are a different mammal from felines, who do!
Deckard256: Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel. Kek, his tears flowing.
reptiliandude: 😂
reptiliandude: You can’t honestly tell me that the Ba’alaket are still pissed off at me for putting that ‘All you can eat Negro’ episode into the files I gave you.
shyeejanut: What I am telling you is that you have established a reputation among us for being an opportunist who does not take his position seriously enough to be considered a reliable source of factual data.
reptiliandude: Nonetheless, I accomplished what i needed to. And those poor people were left alone to worship as they bloody well pleased. Human don’t need nannys. They need cognizance.
explorer1357: Maybe both?
Cosmickev1086: No both, just information. We won’t learn if we are always asking for help.
explorer1357: Uh… RD can be one of the most serious person I know…
I think you underestimate him.
I find he usually has a plan prepared in his head before he opens his mouth.
RD is someone that has foresight and the ability to think ‘over the long run’.
