The Geometry of the Sacred: Pi, Lineage, and the Crucifixion of Yeja in Naigaje Culture

In this dialogue, the user reptiliandude describes the cultural and religious traditions of the Naigaje, an extraterrestrial species where last names are earned through scientific achievement and passed down through matrilineal lines. Their central religious figure, Yeja (or Yeha), was a mathematician and physicist who was crucified by a corrupt establishment, mirroring the story of Jesus. The Naigaje religious symbol—a circle containing a cross with widened ends—represents both the calculation of pi by Yeja’s ancestor and the instrument of Yeja’s own execution. The conversation explores the parallels between human and Naigaje theology, highlighting how mathematical constants like pi and the symbolism of sacrifice serve as universal pillars for spiritual reformation and identity across different worlds.

reptiliandude: I’ve been waiting to see if anyone commented on this link.

I’m somewhat disappointed none have commented on it as of yet. In Naigaje culture last names are earned.

Usually, we are assigned the town which we are from or trade we perform or the business we own as an option to say where we are from.

But in rare cases, the last name is earned through scientific achievement or through great personal sacrifice which either benefited or saved the many.

Even prowess in battle can earn one a last name which can be passed down to successive generations of one’s own family line through the females of the species.

Our version of Osiris/Mithra/Christ–YEJA/YEHA— received his namesake as a result of one of his ancient ancestors calculating our version of pi.

The females born to his spouse then carried on this namesake educating their children in its origins.

While the males of the clan were able to claim it as ‘the son of..’ and the ‘grandson of….’ even in extremely rare occasions, ‘the great-grandson of…’ (if something of similar accomplishment were to come to the attention of the “Shogunate” –for lack of a better term you’d understand– such a namesake does not follow them en perpetuity.

It is only through the females that such lineages are collected like badges and shown on a family crest. The most abundant accomplishments on the crest determine the expense of the dowry.

In your species, the males claim the last name.

Among we Naigaje, it is the females and they hold rights to those names, and they do so zealously.

Our Yeja was a mathematician and a physicist turned religious reformer.

He was executed for his troubles by a corrupt religious establishment.

It should be said that our methods of execution are beheading and in extreme cases, crucifixion.

Yeja was crucified as an enemy of religion and the state.

He whose ancestry declared the circumference to all was slain by the unrighteous.

The penalties for shedding such innocent blood always come full circle.

After intense persecution, the followers of his faith grew.

Many generations later, when the Ael’Kayeen attacked our world, many of them courageously sacrificed themselves to save our species.

The judgement that fell upon our heads was the attack, our salvation their forgiveness and a repeat of the sacrifice their Lord had made so many centuries before.

Such is our historical record, and so it shall remain.

ACuriousHumanBeing: As such his death sparked a reformation, imboldening people to overthrow the religious establishment, and bringing the circle to complition, as it did with ours, creating the largest religious body in our island, as it did with yours.

It’s interesting, because ours was instead an unassuming carpenter who then began a mission to reform, and was also killed for his troubles. But ultimately his death and suffering was not in vain. And like how he carved wood, he carved out a new religion, and it is saved he saved every earthly soul through his suffering.

The reason we use the cross is because its a reminder of the injustice, a reminder of his sacrifice, and a reminder of defiance. And what better symbol for a man of carpentry than a cross he turned into a tool for humanity’s salvation.

Though I myself am secular in belief, I must respect the symbolism of your Yeha and our Jesus, and be glad at these symbols are so strewn across time.

As we use the cross to represent Jesus, do you use pie to represent Yeha?

reptiliandude: We use a circle, within it is a plus sign. Because of the widened ends it has similarities to your German Cross.

ACuriousHumanBeing: I see. Why does the circle have a plus sign? What does it add that the circle lacks on its own?

reptiliandude: You asked me about the religious symbol, think about it.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Ah, maybe its this: as yours was crucified, you adopted the symbol of the cross too, and represented it via a plus sign, and incorperated it into a circle.

Since ours was not involved with the finding of Pi, we instead just used the cross itself as a symbol.

reptiliandude: This is what is inside the circle.

And pi was always represented as such. So with the crucifiction of Yeja ( Pronounced ‘Yay-Haw’ we view it as ‘prophetic.’

Garbotalk: The cross of the knights templar, the inheritors of Masonic tradition from back to the building of pyramids onward. The ankh also has a cross, as does the Christian symbol of a fish, though with a loop. The cross foretold, spread from planet to planet. We are all connected through the living One.

ACuriousHumanBeing: I understand know why it is your symbol for him. Thank you.

garbotalk: Pi, the Fibonacci sequence, perfection in numbers representing infinity. Blossoming forth from a single point of concentrated mass, our universe came to be from the perfection and love of the One. His vision is inspiring.

You, me, all of us, intended to receive the gift of life. We all of us don’t recognize the truth in front of us and fear what is new. Yet God made a plan to send forth Himself into our worlds and provide a path for us back to Him.

I want to study and compare our bibles with all the many advanced species, to learn the same lessons from new sources.

If our blood penalty for placing Jesus on a cross was to have our blood taken from us, we have more than paid that price.

ACuriousHumanBeing: There was no penalty in us crucifying him. Despite everything, he forgave us, he, despite everything, forgave all who would listen and spread his word, follow him.

He was a being of forgiveness, despite everything, despite all of these lifetimes. Never did he call for vengence. Not the Jesus I’ve read about.

To say there was a penalty who would against everything he was. He was/is in many ways mercy incarnate.

That’s what made him so amazing, and so shocking. His forgiveness.

So there was no debt, no price.

He never needed one, and never wanted one.

So who would say we are paying a price, when their was never one to be payed for?

In fact he commanded the Naigaje, Kayeen, and others to leave us alone. He wanted us to be free, not indebted.

garbotalk: And to learn that God sent His same son to every planet, where he did the same things, dying and forgiving every time…amazing.

The Nagaje cross resembles an Iron cross or the Templar cross. In the Assassin’s Creed universe, the Templar cross is identified as the Mark of Cain. It is depicted as a red cross pattée—frequently enclosed within a circle—symbolizing the first “mark” of protection. According to the series’ lore, this mark was branded upon Cain after he slew his brother, Abel, to claim a Piece of Eden, making Cain the mythical progenitor of the Templar Order and its quest for world order through ancient artifacts.

This lore is interesting as RD has revealed that aliens like to post notices of intent and hidden clues directly into our media at times. This is interesting as the Kayeen – largely associated with the Nazis and symbolically depicted as Cain in the Bible with humanity as the brother they are stealing from – holds true in the context which we find ourselves in.

Here is how that fictional lore bridges the gap with the real world:

  • The Mark as a Brand: In the games, the “Mark of Cain” is not a curse from a traditional God, but a brand received by Cain after he committed the first murder to obtain an “Apple of Eden” (technology from a precursor race).
  • The First Templar: The game lore posits that Cain founded the Children of Cain, a secret society that eventually evolved into the Knights Templar. They use the cross as a tribute to their “Father of Understanding.”
  • Symbolic Meaning: The red cross represents the blood of the sacrifice and the mark of those who believe that humanity must be guided and controlled by a “ruling” class of enlightened individuals.
