Garbotalk: Transhumanism is about technological additions to the human body. You’re talking about genetic modifications. They are two sides of the same coin, trying to “fix” and “improve” what isn’t broken.
It’s tinkering with things we have no experience, wisdom or foresight to deal with.
The Kayeen did this to themselves, to their near ruin and extinction. They allowed market forces to determine what “improvements” to make to themselves. They even augmented their brains to gain intellect, only to lose empathy. Each change brought with it unforeseen side effects, like cancers, brain damage, and the inability to reproduce. Those profiting off this new frontier never questioned their right to modify themselves. They became like the Borg from Star Trek.
When things began to go wrong, the sellers of these modifications who created Frankensteins’ monsters were unable to reverse their mistakes. Because of unrestrained experimentation, everyone was affected in due course. There was no square one to go to. They were facing extinction.
So they searched the universe, looking for similar primates, and they found us 200,000 years ago, or rather homo erectus. We saved them. We continue to save their damaged genomes with ours, used to fill in the blanks.
They never learned their lesson though. They began to genetically modify us too, so that we would advance quickly, and we have. They shortened our lives so we would reproduce faster and die before we caught on to them. They reduced our naturally occurring DMT so we couldn’t connect to one another. They dumped contagions on us so we could incubate immunities for them to sell to other primates elsewhere. They gave us cancers so they could harvest life extension materials.
And now they intend to chip us so they can overwrite our minds. In doing so, they would evict our souls and live forever, connecting to human after human, dumping us as we age out and then jumping into a new child.
And all of this happened because of their desire to be like gods.
Transhumanism and genetic modification will turn us into Kayeen. It is to be avoided at all costs. It is the method by which they intend to erase us from our own bodies.
