I would like to start by saying thank you to Garbotalk for creating this subreddit. I have been reading the comments for some time, however, this will be my first time posting.
I am big into Cryptozoology and have had encounters with strange “animals.” My question to Reptiliandude; what are your thoughts on other hominids that inhabit this planet such as Sasquatch?
reptiliandude: Ah, another person who hopes and holds out for the idea that ‘Sasquatch’ is real.
Well, I have good news and bad news. Such creatures have appeared and disappeared and then reappeared throughout your recorded history.
As for creatures similar to Mr. Abominable…
For those which are not indigenous, they only make their brief appearance when they are brought here to be ‘infected’ with mild forms of what ails them at home.
They are then returned with immunities to harvest and pass along.

abnormalmindset: What you’re saying makes sense. There is another “cryptid” that we call Dogman. A bipedal canine that is said to have been spotted with small beings on their backs/shoulders. Somewhat similar to Greys, but much smaller. Like a scout on his horse.
reptiliandude: Millions of years of viral evolution and adaptation of a remarkably similar contagion (like COWpox), upon discovery, is far more of an effective tool than something pieced together over a weekend because it kind of looks like it might mutate into something usable given enough grant money and time.
Additional edit: I am of course referring to how cowpox brought about the subjugation of smallpox.
reptiliandude: As I said. Greys are synths. They come in all sizes. The funniest looking ones you’ve yet to see. They are very squat and robust, even so much more than the dwarves of your legends. They are used exclusively on worlds with extremely high gravity.
