The Economics of Control: Fiat Currency, Cryptocurrencies, and Extraterrestrial Finance

In this intense online discussion, forum members clash over the degree of responsibility extraterrestrial civilizations bear for human evolution and modern societal struggles.  reptiliandude defends the interventions of the “Naigaje,” asserting that their guidance prevented humanity from succumbing to natural contagions and destruction, while warning of impending socioeconomic control through technology and debt. Other participants, notably PrinceWizdom and garbotalk, fiercely reject this perspective, arguing that alien interference corrupted human development, stripped away natural potential, and reduced humanity to an exploited commodity. The exchange highlights deep themes of historical grievance, existential fatalism, and the ongoing debate over personal freedom versus external control.

The exchange highlights deep themes of historical grievance, existential fatalism, and the ongoing debate over personal freedom versus external control.

While another participant casually dismisses the threat with fatalism, garbotalk rallies against this despair, urging users to embrace American patriotism, protect their Second Amendment rights, and actively resist what they view as a creeping global surveillance state. The conversation concludes with SuperCereal87554 acknowledging the overwhelming scale of the alleged conspiracy and the difficulty of convincing others, ultimately joking about needing to prepare for an isolated life in the woods.

fieldlilly: You keep saying that cryptocurrency would offer a viable solution to being chipped. From what I read of it, and have talked to enthusiasts, the technology behind it would/could make it easier to chip people, not less. On the other hand (no pun intended) I have noticed the very intense attacks that have been directed against it in the media.

reptiliandude: Real currency has an intrinsic value which is not dependent upon the existence of the nation whose dead president or aristocrat is stamped upon its surface.

One of the most difficult things to explain to those who lack deductive reasoning skills is what constitutes real money, and why such a thing is even important.

The fool believes that just because he can buy something with it that the metal slugs in his hand have something called value.

They do not.

Here is the reality: Real currency has value independent from any form of state governance.

Think of precious metals which could be melted down into bullion and traded anywhere in the world.

Something that requires time to ‘mine’ and ‘create’ such as a piece of jewelry or compressed mathematical algorithms are other examples of things possessing rarity and an actual value which requires specialized equipment to manufacture.

Livestock, real property, commodities of foodstuffs, material resources, all these possess an intrinsic value of some sort even if the existence of some of them has a shelf life.

Now take a US dollar out of your pocket and look at it.

What used to be a certificate redeemable ‘on demand’ at any Federal Reserve Bank is now advertising itself as a currency in its own right.

That is how banks come to power in foolish nations.

They build a safe place to keep real money and then offer certificates of convenience which can be redeemed at any of their branches.

They then manufacture more certificates than the actual real money which backs them, thus creating debt.

As succeeding generations become more obsessed with their own personal success and pleasures and less concerned with managing their nation and supervising the men entrusted with running its finances, these banks cajole those in power to declare these certificates legal tender in and of themselves.

So, it is that banks have supplanted the one certain means to preserve ones individuality and freedom outside of revolution and armed conflict.

And they brought the world to its knees a few years ago when they repackaged insurance policies on debt and sold them as ‘investments’ (derivatives) even though these things were not bound by any of the legal requirements which actual insurance companies are beholden to.

But that is a story for another time.

Suffice it to say that banks love to create money (debt) out of nothing and to share these opportunities with those who care nothing of national boundaries or local authorities who might limit their ambitions to control and possess the means of exchanging capital.

If the currency in place is a fiat currency, it matters not what system of governance or economics the people call their own: their true rulers and the ones not held accountable to the same laws which govern other business enterprises are those who control the reigns of the flow of this false currency.

And eventually they seek to make the individual a ‘derivative’ in his own right, by supplanting the outside fiat currency with one embedded within that individuals flesh which can then be controlled through means outside that individual’s direct control.

By controlling his money in this manner, even the potentiality of the individual’s labor has become a commodity not owned by himself but by those who control the flow of this false currency from both outside of him and from within him.

That is why my species considers such things an abomination.

We have seen this succession of events take place on many worlds.

And it invariably involves those controlling finance working with the puppets they’ve put in place to subjugate the ‘free-will’ of the species through the implementation of invasive technologies that monitor not only the flow of this false currency, but also the comings and goings of the individual.

Eventually, these ‘conveniences’ are modified to control the decision making process of the individual via the pain and pleasure responses: but this never lasts longer than a couple of generations or so before such coaxing is supplanted by more direct and austere means.

We used to wait until this occurred before we would fall upon a species.

Now that we have established such successive things among primates as near certain eventualities we can afford to be less patient in our resolve.

For a species to behave so self-destructively and to promote such things among us is considered an act of war.

And so we preemptively strike that species to keep the same from spreading its corruption throughout neighboring systems.

This is no different than incinerating an entire city to stop the spread of a sexually spread contagion that would have wiped out the human species at a time in which medical science among your own kind no longer existed.

We cannot control behavior and choice through invasive means.

Nor do we seek to supplant your means of governing yourselves and to replace it with one bound to our own.

Such things are not allowed.

Your ‘currency’ must be your own.

So the offence is instead purified through fire.

And succeeding generations relearn through inheriting the fears of their fathers.

You would do well to avoid the manipulations of those who seek to rewrite your neural networks into their own depravities.

Such things shall only lead to your ruin.

fieldlilly: Completely agree that the current system of currency with no real value, but devious and sadistic penaltie associated with debt is set to implode. I am also concerned about the contagion that is supposed to be released on physical money. I can even see how various cryto currencies can translate into real estimations of value based upon the algorithmic difficulty, and encourage development by increasing the difficulty level to combat inflation, etc and even how derivative currencies can build off of a base one that is all mined out, there is a lot of potentionality there to explore. Information based ones like etherum are particularly interesting.

What I was trying to ask was that these cryptocurrencies are based on digital platform which would be very easy to transfer to a chip and it seems as though switching to something like this could just encourage chipping to happen even faster.

reptiliandude:

Therein lies the rub.

The crypto-currencies embody something of actual value, as the data is ‘mined’ and compressed through a network of high-end machines.

Were there no requirements to go through a corrupt centralized banking system which oversees and controls the flow of capital within economic and political systems which are essentially nothing more than social experiments (See North and South Korea), it would still lend itself towards the creation of a system which would if left unchecked be rife with abuse within three to four generations.

And yet, it is an algorithmic currency of information which we ourselves use.

We simply retain the means to exclude access and control from any centralized authority.

It functions like cash in that you can divest yourself of it using a proxy as your namesake.

But then our tax system isn’t as unwieldy and ill conceived as yours.

We tax at a flat rate at the point of earnings and that’s pretty much it.

We Naigaje are nearly universally of the opinion that what we earn isn’t really anyone’s business but our own.

In fact, it is considered quite rude for someone to ask us how much ‘money’ we make, even if that question came from the mouth of our own emperor.

fieldlilly: This is very interesting. It got me to thinking that we could develop crypto currencies where the mining is tied directly to solving a specific problem instead of an algorithm in a mining rig. For example, a bit of the currency would not have the potential to be mined until a certain scientific discovery was made, and then the it would go to the quickest team t develop it. I could see this as an excellent way to solve design problems and incentivize work that SHOULD be done as opposed to the type that is mind numbing. With a flexible platform that is not tied to a specific platform or app this really could be quite amazing. Thank you. You have given me good food for thought.

reptiliandude: You’re welcome.

I sincerely hope that you develop this algorithmic currency and fill it with interesting information about yourselves and this world so that one day you can freely establish trade with us on your own terms.

ACuriousHumanBeing: Then how can you even the theft of currency by the government? How has your species not abolished such crime?

reptiliandude: Are you referring to taxes?

Taxes pay for the manufacture and administration of systems which provide for the public good.

Public services like potable drinking water, sewage treatment, law enforcement, fire prevention and control services, education of the young and care for the elderly and the disabled or those who’ve lost their homes or livelihoods to the forces of nature and war.

Where taxes go awry is when corrupt career politicians use them to secure their permanence in the body politic.

In a society where capitalism has lost its virtue, a collapse of such a corrupted system is inevitable.

Especially in the case of this world, where ‘termites’ promoting a dogma contrary to natural law have been chewing at its economic foundations for a few generations now.

Indeed, the ‘fairy circles’ they’ve created might work well in an agrarian or hunter gatherer society limited to Dunbar’s number, but such philosophies as these fail the litmus test in industrialized countries where fatherless bastards, opportunists and broodmares would leech away every good thing as a means to avoid contributing to the very system now stupidly enabling the indulgences of those committed to living as parasites.

explorer1357: I just re read this and realized something.

We can initially agree to be chipped with the first, simple chips, as part of our job and convinience. This is “okay” / “acceptable”

But the next iteration of chips, presumably more advanced, carbon based chips, which will come after the cash contagion – will have permanent connections to the brain and thus serve as friend/foe identifiers when Ground War begins.

Am I right?
