He towed the archaeological line.
In that astronomy hadn’t begun prior to the Babylonian cities.
But when cities are discovered on top of cities, and the art shows itself even better in the lower layers as if it sprang out whole as Athena did from the head of Zeus.
Then it becomes impossible to deny that humans knew of such things thousands of years prior to Babylon.
Especially when certain tangible things become discovered which could significantly rock the boat.
Let’s just say that there is a LOT of wealth dependent upon humans staying ignorant to the true nature of their history.
The cover that went up over Gobekli Tepe was not designed to protect it from the weather.
But rather to keep humanity from examining stellar alignments.
You have been deceived into believing that astronomy began with the Babylonians.
That of course, is not true.
